1	It might seem like a minor thing but I hate how people make fun of men who don't last long enough I agree foreplay makes sex better, but let's not pretend that men aren't usually the ones who skip it. 2	It might seem like a minor thing but I hate how people make fun of men who don't last long enough I agree it's probably mean, but I think there are a lot of guys who only care about getting themselves off and aren't interested in pleasuring their partners. If guys were broadly more invested in their partners' pleasure, then I don't think this line of criticism would be as common. 2	LWMA Lounge Now that you describe Cassie Jay, I am familiar with her. The reaction to her documentary was shameful, even though it’s argument was a bit simplistic. It spent a lot of time framing family courts as biased against men because fathers don’t get custody as much, but it doesn’t mention that more often than not, fathers don’t want custody. 2	LWMA Lounge I agree that the antipathy is understandable—I myself feel that way about misandrist feminists. But I kind of feel like only talking about feminism when it’s slighted men instead of what it can do for men kind of cedes ground to the misandrists, instead of reclaiming feminism as a more constructive, sincerely pro-gender equity movement. 1	LWMA Lounge I totally agree that these things should be advocated for without demonizing men in the process. I’ve had that conversation plenty of times with feminist friends. My concern here is that the conversation in this sub tends to center on mean things self-proclaimed feminist say to and about men. 1	Feminism has resulted in only male characters having interesting writing I agree with the examples you raise but you have to admit that Disney sci-fi blockbusters are a pretty limited sample size for drawing this conclusion. 3	LWMA Lounge I’m a little troubled by all the anti-feminist rhetoric I see on this sub, it makes me question the “left wing” part of the title. It’s true that there are women who call themselves feminists and speak and act in misandrist ways, but if they’re not willing to acknowledge and be even mildly sympathetic about the ways patriarchy hurts men, they don’t really understand what feminism is supposed to be about. 1	should we be attaking feminism? Or just misandry? I may be flirting with a no true Scotsman argument here, but feminists should be in favor of solving the gendered problems that men and women respectively face.
