sounds like you you have a good head on your shoulders. You are lucky because your son is only one so he will never know the difference. if you can have you child 50/50 then you and your child may end up happier in the long run if she is already wanting a divorce. i hope it all works out for you

ask her how she feels about a prenup, if she gets upset or refuses then you have lots to think about. I think the norm should be a prenup, protects both parties. Divorce rates are staggering, no one starts off thinking they are going to get divorced unfortunately though the majority do. The fact that a person, (man or women) wants a prenup should not be viewed negatively or -as anything other than it it is, a fair and reasonable request. its no different than life insurance, we all don't expect …

mine did the same, her lawyer told me 10 days, and sent it on a friday. i don't think you are obligated to respond in that shirt a time, check with legal aid or something how long you legally have in order to buy yourself time. These are all scare tactics. in terms of a retainer, maybe you can apply for a credit card, with 5k limit, that should be enough to get you started, and u can pay it off as you go., I am sure your wife is uzsing a credit card as well, hopefully not one you are on the hook…

i envy your position for the opportunity of freedom, whatever you decide i hope you find happiness, it sounds like you have sacrificed your entire life’s relationship happiness for the sake of your kids.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
