Guys, please stop trying to defend or downplay the amputation of a man's foreskin. The information on this is incredibly convincing, although it is also upsetting.

Anyone have the video of the gang bang?

Yeah, because it's funny to see people freak out over something so inane. And to see people grasp for straws as they try to rationalize their own totally irrational and emotionally-based visceral revulsions.

Well, he obviously liked it because it lasted 3 years. And he admitted to willingly hooking up with her in a hotel room.

Oh, wow. Well, apparently I was under some seriously mistaken assumptions when writing my first post. I only watched the first ~20 minutes of the documentary and thought, "Well, this doesn't seem that bad." And then I saw this thread and decided to write out that elaborate, provocative post for the sake of some amusing feather ruffling. Although, I can still imagine a regulated system which allows adult-child sexual relationships and monitors the child through therapy and other means to ensure t…

the boys raped by these people face cultural shame and humiliation, with virtually no support network and little outside concern Is this true? Do the boys who agree to have sex with Afghan men in exchange for money really face ostracization, shame, etc. by the other citizens of Afghanistan? And is this humiliation specifically for the fact that they were sodomized? If you have evidence that these kids are systematically shamed by their culture for prostituting themselves, I'd like to see it. Fro…

I watched a documentary on this topic, called "The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan." Here's a link The boys who engaged in these sexual relationships didn't seem to show signs of serious psychological distress. A lot of the emotional trauma purportedly caused by adult-child sex relationships is going to be influenced by the culture in which it takes place. So, since it's more culturally acceptable for these relationships to take place in Afghanistan, it makes sense that the children don't suffer sev…

Other men? Like their friends? If you don't have friends, you could try a therapist or online forums. This might seem like a strange suggestion, but you could also try making friends with gay guys. Gay men tend to be more comfortable when discussing emotional problems, and they may be appreciative of straight men who are respectful towards them and comfortable enough about their sexuality to open up and extend gestures of friendship.

From the article: There are, however, expressions of male identity seen as acceptable by our patriarchal society, such as anger, the hatred and disparagement of women, homophobia, and lad culture. >Straight, male writer argues that men are comfortable expressing feelings of anger, hatred, misogyny, and homophobia; but tend to avoid sharing feelings of depression, insecurity, loneliness, etc. >Writer goes on to suggest that men who feel depressed should try to discuss their feelings with others a…

I don't think a list like that exists. I spent some time on google looking for one.

I don't think you can compare snorting coke to having sex because cocaine is addictive and has horrendous effects on your health. I suppose sex can pose health issues as well, but condom usage or simply sticking to non-penetrative sexual contact sidesteps this threat. Also, most guys would probably still say yes to sex with most of the girls on this list even if they're like 25+ or 45+ years old. How is a 25-year-old more prepared for sex than a 13-year-old? It's not like he's gotten any less ho…

When this case came out, the mom actually said the only reason she called the cops is because her daughter has some mental disorder. Epilepsy or something like that. The daughter wasn't home, so the mom was worried wondering where she was and called the cops. No one wanted Zach to be punished apart from Judge SuperCunt

When explaining his decision to redo the case, the judge still apparently stands by original sentence. Just this last week, the judge claims that his decision not to show leniency resulted in the fact that the girl looked underage, and Zach should have recognized it. But the worst part is when he goes on the claim that Zach didn't deserve leniency because the two clearly did not go on a traditional date. Judge Wiley, the original sentencer, was cited as follows: because Anderson dropped the girl…

I've read somewhere that women who receive sex change operations to become biologically male lose the ability to experience sexual pleasure. I think for male-to-females part of the penis is turned into a clitoris, so they can still get off by rubbing themselves.

I'm not. I'm a gay man and sexually attracted to other men. I'm actually most attracted to men who are muscular and masculine, so I'm nowhere near being a pedophile as children lack those qualities completely. I just find ethics and moral philosophy interesting. A lot of humans have strong moral instincts shaped by both the society they grew up in and our species' evolutionary background. Yet, many of those moral instincts are often difficult to defend in a way that's consistent, rational, and s…

Would it be wrong for an adult to groom a child for sex? The child doesn't see anything wrong with it and thinks it's normal. It wouldn't be any worse than grooming children to think playing football is admirable and respectable. A lot of emerging research is surfacing which shows that children who play football from a young age suffer serious long-term neurological damage. For instance, this study found that NFL players who started tackle football before the age of 12 performed much worse on te…

I'm opposed to rape. By rape I mean sexually acting on someone after they reject your advances. Also, having sex with someone so intoxicated they're incapable of consenting. I don't see a 15 year old willingly receiving oral sex from an adult as rape. At 15 years old, he should be able to fully understand the consequences of receiving a blow job and deciding whether or not he is willing to accept those consequences. Although I don't really know the full details of this case - I think I remember …

Seems like a fair sentence. Actually a bit harsh, I'd say. I'd offer the same sentence to a man, though. It's not that women are under-punished for these convictions: rather it's men that are given draconian and unjust punishments for sex related "crimes."

Avoiding double standards such as these are one of the highlights of being a gay man. Also: But a surprising number of men believe that paying for dinner and dates is nothing more than a thinly veiled exchange of money for sex. This is total fucking nonsense BWAHAHAHAHA!! Nonsense?! Then why does this double standard exist? What the fuck else could possibly cause men to put up with these laughably sexist expectations?

Here's the girl's account of the case. At one point she tells him to leave her underwear on. But afterwards she doesn't resist, because she didn't want to look nerdy by rejecting the popular boy. No really, here's a quote: I didn't want to come off as an inexperiended little girl. I didn't want him to laugh at me. I didn't want to offend him. She even admits that she didn't resist the encounter at all. I wanted to not cause a conflict. I felt like I was frozen. So, apparently being submissive du…
