Yet on the rare chance that the father gets custody Theirs a good chance that the judge won't force her into child support if they do though it's almost guaranteed that the mother will be ordered a lower child support payment than a father would in her place And even if the judge does order her to pay child support the mother never can actually ignore the payments and not pay them and a lot of judges won't care about it
