It is so hard to generalize. I cannot say to give IOI or not. I guess it depends on the situation. But the my main suggestion is to approach. What I DO know is that I was not direct with her but approached her simply because I was interested in what she was doing there and finding out our common interests. Good lesson and great post. I'll save it for later :) ​

I don't see anything bad about asking out a coworker. If she rejects you, so she will know that you like her, so what?! It's a normal thing for people to like each other. Just be respectful and that's it. As to not shit where you work, just make sure you both are in the same page and go for it.

Well, I don't drink and have no problems to come over to a girl. Drinking is not a solution. I think the main thing to remember is to be yourself.
