Wow. He may have been a pessimistic bloke, but thank you for sharing.

Indeed I've heard the same, basically the bad-ass version of How to Win Friends and Influence People. At the end of the day it's up to us on how we decide to use the information presented.

Fantastic. Some of the best 200 pages you'll read!

This is on my to-read list, I hear it's a great read. What did you think of it?

This is a brilliant point. For me, I'd be asking myself whether it's worth my time interacting with someone who doesn't take any interest in me.

Haha I agree. The book was published in 1936. I was tempted to use 'someone' to accommodate both male and female in this day and age where you have to be careful about vaguely inferring the superiority of men over women. However I kept to 'man' as I didn't want to warp the original text :P

Hey - Thank you for the feedback, do you prefer simple points with perhaps a brief explanation, rather than providing an example to back it up?

Damn right - the book as a whole is gold!

How are you feeling about it? Excited? Nervous?

I've was travellig alone recently in the US (19/M) and Ive been meeting strangers and asking them a) What are you passionate about? And b) What is one lesson in life that you have learnt which you would pass on to others? Alrhough I have no intentions to seduce, it often sparks their interest I've noticed!

My Ex didn't accept compliments. She was insecure.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
