Ok ill bite 1) you said that male suicide statistics wouldn't change if we talked to each other more, because society hates us anyways. That's like saying we shouldnt try at all, which makes no sense and opposes for the sake of opposing. 2) you countered his point about society by saying forget about it, then going on to exaggerate his claim and saying that he believes men suck, which again is just opposing what he's saying without benefit to the discussion 3) when he said we should be better to…

Hey dude, looking into this guys comment history, it looks like a naturally spiteful/opposing person. So I don't think you'll be able to change his/her mind. I get what you're saying however

Listen I totally understand where you're coming from and seeing as you are (were in) law school you obviously know more than I do about the subject. But as a layman, you telling me that at least 3 of 2500 are not to be trusted is not the best point. Even if half of the people are not to be trusted that still leaves 1250 distinguished people who study law that believe that his temperment (not just his "impartiality" mind you) are unfit for the court.

He is a constitutionalist but when 2500 law professors determine that he acted in a partial manner quite frankly I trust their opinion on the subject more than mine or yours. They are the most qualified to make a determination of his impartiality. I don't see 2500 law professors signing a petition that he deserves the position do you? Here's what they said: regardless of his guilt or innocence in multiple allegations of sexual assault, his response to the Senate inquiry was so inappropriate and …

Listen I'm nor a lawyer or a judge, or in any position to determine how a Justice should react to allegations like those. But if nearly 2500 professors of law determine that his reaction was unfit for one, that's not a calculated political hit. I know when I'm out of my depth and when to trust the experts and quite frankly I trust the law professors opinion on what's acceptable more than yours. Here's what they said: regardless of his guilt or innocence in multiple allegations of sexual assault,…

I totally agree that no justice is truly impartial, but I feel like kavanaugh is openly impartial and to a greater extent than should be allowed.

Obama was vying for a position that did not demand impartiality. Whereas the extremely partial kavanaugh is entirely unfit to be a Justice for that reason alone.

I would agree with you if it was just a few people coming out against him but never in the history of any supreme court nominee have this many people and specifically lawyers and his own schools staff come out against the person. I just find it hard to believe that every single one of those people are making unfounded claims

Those are valid claims and I totally notice that phenomenon in my life as well. However it doesn't really address the fact that he felt a sense of solidarity with women in the situations before the transition and felt nothing in the situations after the transition as apparently men don't react to those kind of events.

I appreciate you saying it. Explicitly stating the intention you have will always be better than not. Best not to let others make assumptions about the movement because that's what leads to slander and discredit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
