At this point, the juice isnt worth the squeeze. In yhe last few years, I havent met a woman Id really trust.

Basically where Ive arrived. Too many people wanna create artificial drama. I expect its because their own lives arent exciting enough, or they just dont have certain types of life experiences that put theirs into perspective. In this attention-based technological socialsphere, you need something extreme to even stand out. Not only that, but socially media itself distorts the truth and creates social cancers between people. So, no. Im not interested in participating anymore. Not in this circus. …

Basically I only cry from social rejection. Without going into details, its particularly hard for me to connect emotionally due to my upbringing and its following relationships. I fumbled a romantic interest recently and I cried not for thay one specific moment, but a general pain I feel for the difficulties in connections that seem to come to others far easier than they do for me, and I just lament being to fucked up these days. What also makes it even more difficult now is that I lost half my …

The Thunder Rolls was mere infidelity. Much less justified murder than Earl, who actually beat a woman. Frankly, I dont care who you are: you make me fear for my life, I will kill you first. If you fuck somebody else? That's not a death sentence, neither way, man or woman. Btw: before somebody says something: the extended version of "Thunder Rolls" (if you havent heard it) she grabs a gun to murder her husband for cheating, which is much less justified than Earl was doing.

Masculinity isnt toxic. Some men are toxic. As are women. Whether you do toxicity with a masculine flavor is like saying the Kool-Aid itself is poisonous.

Its the phones. Not the screen time. Its cameras. Gen Z is afraid to do a lot of things with the threat of having the entire world see it.

Tbh believing he and other disabled men can be pervs isnt surprising. This is the internet: if like twelve people out of the many men these women met over multiple careers were creeps, then thats on those men. As an amputee, I dont think his transgressions represent me, the same way Epstein and I both being men doesnt condemn me at all. In my 3 weeks in the hospital, I managed to never flash or harass any of my nurses who were actually quite attractive. I agree with the women in these statement …

That's why I communicate in text messages. Once had a woman falsely accuse me, and when a mutual friend confronted me, I pulled out my phone and said, "Then why did she say these things before and after the incident?" Yeah, she had to "clarify" some things after that. Oh, don't worry, everyone still ended up hating me anyway, but at least it didn't get as bad as it could have.

Left-leaning opinions are at worst callous to this incident. Literal Nick Fuentes fan shot Kirk. Big endorsement of violence from the right. Big misdirection to imply otherwise.

AI is a really great search engine to scan large bodies of text and find the answers you're looking for. A therapist will not have such encyclopedic knowledge available as quickly and thoroughly. I spent too much time with mine simply trying to get him to understand what I was trying to tell him. "By X, do you mean Y?" Like "No, I meant X." "Have you considered Z?" "Ffs I told you earlier that I considered Z and then told you why it isn't. It's fucking X and it pisses me off that I'm paying you …

If incel meant what it originally meant, then they're shaming people because someone else won't have sex with them. Same people will claim that men act they're owed sex. Well, if they're not owed sex, then failing to find a willing partner isn't a bad thing. However, that insult makes it sound like sex is something you need to achieve to gain respect. The funniest part is when you actually do get sex and they respond to whatever opinion you have by calling you that name. It'd be helpful for ever…

I don't like everything about Joe Rogan, but Kamala should've gone. Too bad she's still a heavily cultivated political persona, too afraid to get that one gaffe from a mistaken or misspoken answer. Trump has no shame, so he can get asked about how he lied about the 2020 election and any supposed evidence overturning it, fuck up the answer, and still no one gives a shit. I wanna say that I can't understand why so many people let him behave like this, but I know that the answers almost always invo…

Economic oppression is racist & sexist oppression if those who control the pursestrings make racist & sexist decisions. That definitely happens. You aren't gonna hear me defending the billionaires of this Second Gilded Age. If you magically got rid of racism and sexism, exploitation by the wealthy will continue, only now there's no glass ceiling excuse. Again, I'm not sure where you want to bring postmodernism into this. The person above said something about if there is an oppressed vs. oppresso…

Is Jordan Peterson using words he doesn't understand again? Edit: sorry, I'm just really confused how we bounce around from the fall of communism in 1991 to postmodernsim which started basically after WW2. The CIA even funded artists to counteract Soviet culture. So yeah, having trouble following how one idea begat the other which begat another.

My ex and I had these two lesbian friends. When they broke up, one of them decided to sleep with me, but I did it only under the condition that nobody finds out about this (my ex and I were open and those two had broken up, so nobody was cheating). Afterward, we texted a bit, and it seemed overall a positive experience. Not a week later, I get angry texts from her ex (my friend) talking about us banging. That sucks. The next day my ex (my friend) asks to meet me at a bar we often visit. Figured …

There's "nobody gives a fuck how you feel" and then there's me with "as the only son, your whole family is allowed to constantly emotionally abuse you because boys need to go up to be strong." That "use it against me" guy hit hardest because so many people don't realize that I'm not just dealing with global apathy. I actively have people who view my failure as necessary or desirable for their outcomes, and some of these people end conversations with, "I love you." I do have someone to talk to: a…

My experience is that women are often treated kinder and with more respect than men at default. If I'm an asshole to another dude, people expect him to defend himself. If I do the same to a woman, you get both men and women stepping in to defend her. It's like the phenomenon of "mansplaining": if they're inadequate in some neutral way, they can say it's you being sexist, which adds to the toolbox of ways men can get shut down.

Older lady, understood the world in a way the younger generation didn't. Probably only therapist that helped. I would tell her my issues with women and she'd recognize how difficult the current mood is. I taught her the word "zeitgeist" when describing how valid accusations against actual predators (Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein at the beginning of #MeToo had descended into a witch hunt (Johnny Depp).

Here's a good video that avoids some of the mainstream issues Peterson grapples with and instead focuses on how he gets some of the concepts he criticizes wrong. Wisecrack - Jordan Peterson doesn't understand Marx

It's more about being in big cities vs. rural. I'm pretty leftist and liberal but even Seattle was too much for me. Go further out into less populated areas and you'll find less misandry.
