Yep, and men's rights is a big issue here in India, with a lot of false arrests and discriminatory laws and lost lives and livelihoods. Possibly an obvious suggestion, but have you looked into /r/legaladvice? The non-American lawyers commenting there are lesser in number, but they do exist, and they'd at least be better at interpreting legal statutes due to experience. (And I haven't seen any feminist /anti-male bias there, in my limited visits there.)
