Just because it is, and should be, Legal doesn’t mean every single woman wants to get an abortion every single time…because believe it or not legal does not equal ethical to most people. Personally, I find abortion perfectly fine. But if a woman doesn’t, then it’s not just a “they choose to make themselves suffer”. Truly, the more I have talked with you the more I feel sorry for you. I hope you feel better soon pal!

I wasn’t saying then being paranoid is a reason to not do it; I was saying that it’s such a small minority of people whining about it, and no rational adult wants it. we won’t agree, because you want to tice women all the agency and none of the consequences Yes….because they are the only ones who have to deal with any of the consequences….they get to shove a human through their vagina. They are the ones who are at risk of death(small with the proper medical care, but that is infinitely more than…

full stop, there is no world that forcing a women to keep a child is the correct thing to do. Ever. It’s the same reason you can’t be forced to give a blood transfusion to save someone’s life. Forcing every man to take a paternity test is also not good IMO(but it could be done legally). All this does is cater to the hyper paranoid, that also don’t have the balls to confront their partner about it. I know that if my SO got pregnant, I would not even think she cheated. If they think their SO not o…

No, this is such an insane argument. Let’s follow this: 2 idiots get together, and both make the choice to have unsafe intercourse(or just get really unlucky) One idiot decides that they think abortion is wrong and shouldn’t be done, but the other thinks it’s the correct thing to do here. Tell me, whose opinion matters more there? Both parties effected are equally responsible, so there is no one “at fault”. My answer is the person who will be the most effected by it…IE the woman. Whatever her ch…

Explain to me how having DNA on file is a problem at all?

^ This is what I don’t get; if the alleged parent has any doubt, they already do this. This argument really only comes up with people who are paranoid about everything and think that talking to another person about problems they have with them is an insane idea. As in; they want everyone else to have another thing to worry about when a child is born, because they don’t want to trust their partners

Ohhh, a new one! I love finding insane claims people make on here. “Men are immune to marketing strategies because we are men” is hilarious. My dude, if you can name the company when I say: “I’m loving it” “like a good neighbor, ____ is there” “15 minutes could save you 15 minutes or more on car insurance” Then you have been marketed to

IMO it’s even more specific; it validates their persecution complex, because it removes the key fact that a relationship has two unique individuals, not one unique individual and a sex doll.

“It could happen to you” is you projecting your insecurities onto other people. I am confidence enough that my partner wouldn’t cheat on me, and if that changes with new information then I reevaluate my feelings about my partner and confront them about it. And if I never suspect anything and they are the greatest con artist of all time, then so be it. I was still happy, and unless they were also a psychopath they probably had inner turmoil in spades for forcing me to raise another persons kid wi…

No no, you see the gub’int is going to clone and replace us with fully automated drones, like they have done with birds. The illumati will then come out of hiding, and rule the world in their lizard forms. God, the ignorance of some people…

So to be clear: her original comment was about her experiences that she was sharing. She can’t be wrong about that, she could be making it up, but i personally have no reason to think so seeing how she is describing a perfectly reasonable scenario, that a lot of people have been in. You ask someone to change, over and over, and then when you decide you have had enough they turn around and attack you for it. It’s abusive and manipulative at worst, and at best the other person is just not willing …

I would never take an issue I had with someone to the internet. Either talk to someone who knows you both, talk to a licensed therapist, or the best one is just talk to them like an adult. No matter how hard you try, you cannot remain a neutral party and will always have a bias to your side of the issue. Even if by all accounts it appears to be ‘neutral’, there is always another side. And without either knowing the other person, or with the professional training to read between the lines, you ar…

The other commenter is obviously ignorant of what it means to be in a relationship, but this “men never…” crap is absurd. Don’t let this person who hasn’t even moved out of their parents house, be another “man” you add to your bias.

So what you are saying, is you have formed an option well enough that you feel you can lecture other people about it, but when actually presented with rational arguments you just deflect and say “because I am ignorant of life outside my parents house, this seems made up to me and therefore I won’t admit I’m wrong” You seem fixated that you know the original commenters relationship better than them, that you know what their situation was before the move in happened. I can do that to, make assumpt…

I mean, is that really surprising from someone who perpetuates this prepubescent view on relationships?

This is my issue with this whole pill BS. It’s a religion to these people, with “sex” being their “god”. People are dynamic, have intricate personalities, and can make choices you don’t expect. You can’t dumb it down to Option 1 and Option 2, people do it though to feel like they understand something they don’t, or to explain away a fault they have without working on it.

Nope. I have also not seen every single man on the planet, and I can state with 100% certainty I’m not attached to them either. I have seen trans women that are attractive sure, but I’m not attracted to them. Being attractive is a socially constructed idea, being attracted to someone is a personal preference.

Well as long as you are happy, it doesn’t really matter! The problem comes when/if you do want a relationship, and expect the other person to constantly be “tested” so you never have to deal with your trust issues

You can’t base a relationship with an individual on what a group does, let alone an assumption about what a group does.

I agree with that line you made, and not reducing trans people to their genitals is the first step towards respect and recognition.

I have also never met a trans person who wants to date someone who doesn’t want to date them(I’m talking specifically about the superficial level of dating that this type of thing is really an issue for, unrequited feelings for someone in your life are a completely separate thing) However plenty of people went to fuck people who don’t want to fuck them, and IMO anyone who uses this form of manipulation is only after sex, trans or not.

So, if I don’t want to date a man as a man, do you think I’m homophobic? And if not, why? Because to use your logic: it might be my sexual preference, but I can still make homophobic choices with who I date?

“People have been called transphobic for just saying no” As stated above, if all you respond with is “no”, and move on they have no basis to call you transphobic, and they would be in the wrong. However You still obviously are, and very rarely do you just get to say “no” and walk away, so when you get called that don’t be surprised. Because your opinion is “and if saying someone with a vagina is not a man is misgendering them that’s ok”, and that is transphobic, I’m sorry.

^ I have no desire to date a women who has transitioned from a man, I’m not attracted to them, it’s as simple as that. If people want to call me “transphobic” then I am more than ok with their ignorance, because I know I’m not. Just like me not wanting to date a natural-born dude doesn’t make me “homophobic”. But if I say “no I won’t fuck a dude who cut his dick off” then that is transphobic because I’m reducing her to her genitals

That’s not a test that’s a normal conversation🤦‍♂️ Added to expand on my snarky comment: You don’t mean “behaving normally”, you mean “behaving how I think she should”. If you share that you don’t think you are good enough, then that will change what “normal” is. Human interaction and relationships(romantic or otherwise) are complicated, and the people who think they know what other people are thinking without taking to them are never in the right. Ever. And I will concede that I’m sure there ar…

Anytime you have to “test” a friend even, let alone family/SO’s, you need to seriously take a look at your own insecurities. And it’s fine to say “hey SO, I don’t think I’m as good as other men”, and when the SO says “but you are what I want, don’t worry about it”, that’s your queue to not worry about it. The problem is the men being talked about will continue to keep those feelings, and not work through them. They want their partner to continually “prove” that they are being truthful, when that…
