If women, on average, prefer to pursue safer, more flexible jobs, that's their choice. Nothing wrong with that. Men tend to be more risk taking, on average, largely due to much higher levels of testosterone. 27	Another Perspective on the Wage Gap On average, men are more likely to pursue jobs with greater demands and/or more risk than women. Nothing wrong with that. Just a different preference.
