14	So.... it worked? I wrote did my bachelor's thesis on machine learning, here's my 5 cents. I think a lot the time these sorts of statements lack context. There's a lot of reasons why it might pick male candidates over female candidates. It doesn't necessarily mean male candidates are better. It could mean there is bias in the learning data set towards men or that the evaluation methods favour male candidates as it was traditionally a predominantly male profession. Also that problem exists outside Japan. I've met people so unsocialized it wasn't even funny anymore. It's not just hobbies, porn addiction and whatever odd specific stuff they're into.
