Match to Date Formula by Ethan Forge is the one book I recommend for social media + dating apps combo. It teaches you how to create a "marketing engine" where people come to you. It's about 100 pages long, but well worth it. Couple things I took from it: - How to apply social media to amplify your dating apps - How to boost your conversions so that more of your matches actually convert into dates - How to create interesting Instagram stories that will have people messaging you - How and when to …

Actually therapy. Deadass. Didn't expect myself to be saying this. The 23-year-old kid in me woulda been like, "Pfft, BETA MALE!" But as a 31 year old who's seen everything in the game... Figuring out my deep rooted problems that were leading to cold approach anxiety, lack of CORE confidence, etc... helped tons. I have a journal prompt that helped me uncover my blind spots and it's what I bring to therapy every week. It's helped me more than anything. Happy to share the list here if folks are in…

Have you read Match to Date Formula by Ethan Forge? Also a great book that teaches you how to maximize instagram for dating.

Match to Date Formula by Ethan Forge. This book is specifically for people who like using Instagram and Snapchat, but who now want to leverage it to grow their social circle and land more dates. It teaches you how to develop stories that will have people coming to you (as opposed to you going to them and chasing 100% of the time). Highly recommend.

OP is saying if you want to meet women and make money, go get a server or bartending job. It's true, these are great jobs for amplifying your social skills. But they aren't high paying. They're also sort of dead-ends (no growth potential). At least in a sales career you get paid well, can travel, meet lots of new people, and everything you learn about how to sell can be applied to dating. So, in other words, it's a better avenue, IMO

In terms of cheap books, I always suggest Match to Date Formula by Ethan Forge, which teaches you how to leverage Instagram to boost your dating app results. Basically, it's a book on how to market yourself. This isn't just for dating, as it'll apply to social circle game as well. Highly recommend it.

Game is like spice. It's a great amplifier, but should never be the main ingredient. You use it as a small part of a larger toolset which should be primarily comprised of your confidence, beliefs, lifestyle, and interests. You get a lot of room to "mess up" if you have confidence. But yeah, game isn't going to magically make her interested if you're not her type / she's not single / she's not interested.

Bro you own a house at 27 no one is going to question if you have money or not. It isn't something you have to flaunt or even mention. People see you're established and it's perfectly fine to leave it at that. Its not a "waste" if you don't mention it. In fact, it's probably more attractive if you're nonchalant about it.

Anxiety is fine until it inhibits you from doing what you want to be doing. However, living life with this fear that you're going to be killed or ostracized is a maladaptive belief that should be analyzed. Where is it coming from? I had that same fear btw. But instead of telling myself to approach more (which I did, and it didn't work), I began to analyze where my fears were coming from and how they originated. It was only with this awareness that I was able to begin changing my beliefs and beha…

Sounds like you went about it the right way which is analyzing what's happening, noticing a narrative that wasn't actually based on any reality, and then also made a few approaches which proved it. That's exactly the point I am trying to make which is that you have to get to the cause, understand whats going on, and THEN take action. As opposed to solely taking action and hoping it'll make your insecurities/anxieties go away. And yes, therapy absolutely helps too.
/r/seduction06/09/23 08:57 PM
1

Yeah, that can happen. But if you're constantly having that social anxiety after years and years, it's time to start to analyze. Exposure alone can and does fix a lot of inner game issues, but not always.

That's the point, dorkus. :-) You want to discover your problems. Not avoid them. You want them within your scope of awareness so that you can actually tackle them.

Best way to get more confident is to improve your social status so you have more positive interactions with people. Yes, true. But, again, this is a mask. Not a solution to the core issue of insecurity. Getting social status feels good and can convince you that you've fixed your issues, but you haven't. I agree, it helps. But it's not the solution.

Haven't been a simp since 2009 my king. Come a long ways. You're right in theory. Put some flexibility and understanding into that theory. Be accommodating, but also firm. Be confident and bold, yet empathetic. All a balance.

I agree. Communication isn't always perfect tho. As students of seduction, really what we're learning is how to be direct and call out the uncomfortable in a confident way. Not everyone has learned that tho.

/r/seduction16/01/21 04:01 AM

This is very good. I do the same thing, just with two times. Third time she has to propose. This is especially relevant in later ages (25+). People have careers, well built social circles, etc. People are busy and you can't take it personally.
/r/seduction15/01/21 11:46 PM

You're going to lose so many opportunities this way. If someone flakes 2x and doesn't propose new times and she's clearly not making efforts to work with your schedule... Sure, then move on. But there are lots of awesome, beautiful, high value women who are going to be tough to get a hold of initially. Doesn't mean she isn't interested. Being too quick to disqualify will only attract the easy girls who anyone can land dates with.
/r/seduction15/01/21 11:06 PM

That’s good. But you’re missing the deeper point; out of all 20 you approached; WHY them? It’s better to approach 1-2 women a week who TRULY draw you in and intrigue you. A curiosity you can’t help but entertain. So you approach. And when you approach, they can feel your attract and genuine interest in them. It’s more human and real. Those 20 women (aside from the lonely wife with a beta male husband) probably didn’t feel that genuine vibe from you. They probably felt the approach was random, as…
/r/seduction23/12/20 04:44 AM

Insincerity, not insecurity. You can joke and smile with them all day but if it’s not GENUINE, it doesn’t matter. Rapport and vibe can’t be faked. Approaching works when the energy is there. Mass approaching fails a lot and has a low ROI because approaching 20 people is like copy/pasting the same text to everyone.
/r/seduction23/12/20 04:35 AM

20 females in 3 days? I get the whole mass approaching for practice thing but I 100% guarantee they sense your insincerity.

How did such a toxic belief about women get upvoted? Yes it’s true there are insecure women out there but there’s also very secure, confident women who respond very well to men who are confident, easy going, and respectful. Combine that with a solid understanding of charm and flirtation, and you’re pretty much unstoppable. You’ve got a very, very twisted view about women.

Any city with a big enough population and social scene will do. There is no “best” bc everyone’s tastes are different. DC, Seattle, LA, SF, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, NYC, Miami, San Diego, Mexico City, Medellin, Buenos Aires,... you get the point. Figure out where you can afford and which vibe you’d like best. Personally when I went to vegas I hated it (wasn’t my vibe, smelled like cigs everywhere, women were hot but trashy). With that said I also saw the value of living their if my tastes were l…

While it can be a cool maneuver I would say it’s not necessary for dating success. Personally suck at “eye fucking” people unless were in a one-on-one convo. Most of times when I see a beautiful woman I’m like a deer blinded by headlights. I’m not thinking, “must eye fuck!!!” Good conversation, solid social skills, rock solid confidence, decent hygiene, and understanding of people’s emotions have gotten me very, very far. Just stick to the basics and you’ll do good

I like this but then in this instance, it isn't texting "purely for logistics". There is back and forth banter and comfort-building happening between 10-15 back and forth messages.

Do you have a texting example of a first date you went on where you mostly just texted for logistics? Not trying to put you on the spot but I find it hard to believe that you can text anyone (someone you don’t know) purely for logistics and still get them out. Are you basically just texting them, “Hey wyd?” “Hey are you free at 8pm?” “Hey Starbucks 8am?” Like what do you do? Lol

Yeah, I think you gotta look good. But more like “good enough”. They don’t put the same degree of importance on physicality as you do. For guys, we put tons of importance on them. Huuuge emphasis on looks as part of attraction process. For women, looks are still important, but not as important as you just made it seem.
/r/seduction22/10/20 03:21 PM
2

You are judged purely on what you look like on dating apps. Looks / height carry more weight. Irl they still do, but a lot less. A solid presence and friendly people goes a long way, to the point where height, race, etc become less important. I could make a video on this stuff, I might. Doesn’t even matter what the general public is doing, if you have spectacular people skills and know a basic understanding of how attraction works... you can really go a long way.
/r/seduction22/10/20 03:09 PM

It’s a case by case basis. Generally speaking I think people date within their age group. Anecdotally speaking, I’ve noticed women dating guys with a couple years on them. So about 3-5 years older.

2

Between 25-27, I went through an “older women” phase. 35-55. So you can definitely date outside your age group. But depends on your vibe (if you’re too mature, for example, you can’t go too young because young personality types will annoy you, for example).

You skipped the part about why you decided to send her a note basically asking if she’d be your fuck buddy. Can you clarify if she felt mutual or appeared to feel mutual?
