I have unspeakable gratefulness for the existence of a famous guy like Keanu Reeves. The sheer hope for humanity that he brings, my god.

A rough, rough road ahead of her. You can almost sense all the LVM lighting up in unison at the sight of an obviously vulnerable, attractive, young woman. Hope she wisens up as soon as possible.

This is a good resource for self-evaluation, thank you! Bookmarking this.

My personal philosophy is if it would sound wrong coming out of Keanu Reeves’ mouth, then it’s definitely LVM/NVM behavior. 😂

“Reformed” men tend to transform from being NV/LV to being average value men. If they ever show off their “improvement” as people, trust that it’s never impressive. The bar has been non-existent their entire lives that their idea of HV traits equates to finally acquiring basic human decency. Pay no mind to them, sis. They stay underwhelming.

"i StIlL lOvE yOu ThOuGh" The "love" of an LVM — much like his jokes — are, at best, lame and, at worst, hurtful. I hope one day she tells him to shove his worthless love up his ass.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. He is so... human from how you described him; like, I really see how this could be very difficult for you, to be hurt by him but at the same time to have been able to see him in both his good and bad. Just reading you type out, “I’m sorry I wasted 3 years of your life” was devastating. The dude was playing boyfriend to you for 3 years, giving you enough good treatment to inspire hope in a relationship. I think the type of man that he is is even more insi…

You’re really brave for cutting things off with this guy and going cold turkey. I wish I could say that there was one missing magic step that would abruptly end the pain, but it sounds like you really need time to grieve. You already know this but at the worst of your pain, keep remembering that the pain of grieving now is better than the comfort of going back to him. You are forcing yourself to grow. You are on the right path. And that’s why it hurts so much. But don’t worry, the pain won’t las…

You’ve put into words an attitude I’ve been having lately! It’s been the most freeing thing. If I may add based on my experience, I’ve been able to do “man things” around the house by assuming the mindset of a man: which is mostly bravado, even in the face of things I am NOT skilled at or have expertise in. I’ve been maintaining my car, changing water filters, basically fixing stuff around the house and growing so much more in skill and confidence in my abilities. To do what a man typically does…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
