Couldn’t agree more, no one is meant to be for everybody.

Yes I agree, that has happened to me before too. I forgot how much it was actually fun, and as I type this out I am actively thinking of ways I can continue this momentum. Even if it's not a venue that I see an attractive woman I at least want to speak to few people.

What places do you go and what time of the day, because I usually think of bookstores, Target, and coffee places like Starbucks?

Take baby steps, make a simple goal like speak to 3 people (regardless of gender), and talking can even mean "Where is the bottled water" to someone that works at the grocery store. Start there, and increase the goal slowly it will get better. P.S.: This is what someone taught one and I kept with it, and if do not reach your goal for that day, lower it maybe so you can feel energized to try it again. Do not make tasks too hard for you, but slowly increase.

Listen, read Models by Mark Manson, it helps a lot. Please do yourself a favor, and while reading it, take SOME action with pickup. Do not get paralysis by analysis like many, if not most in this sub did, or doing right now. Think of it like this, do some action, then correct and adjust, in accordance with studying more on pickup

I like sports watching them (too many to name that I watch but I play rec volleyball, softball, and golf when the weather is warm), outside of that my friends go bowling about once a month. 2-3 times a year I do some traveling (mainly in the US for now). I have this Regal Pass so about 2 - 4 times a month I am at the movies.

A simple one that helped is: honesty. Be 100% honest when you are asked something and be honest with yourself. It will surprise you how happy you are knowing you are telling everyone the truth.

No don't feel bad that is fine, it is just your first day. It is ok, you are trying. I would say ,as I am starting to get into cold approach too, work yourself up. It sounds weird but make your goal as small as possible, and then build off of that. What helps me is talking to people, almost anyone, even retail workers start talking to them first, (they have to talk to you anyway), talk to 1-3 of them about anything then I think your mood will be better but DO NOT GIVE UP.

Tidewater area of Virginia. It really depends if you want to put the effort in. I know that can be said about many places but it's really true here. No public transportation, everything is spread out, like its 20-30 min to get to almost anything here. Lot of military here, but it is a gap socially between those that are stationed here, and those that live here.

Be honest, I think many men don't really grasp the concept of how many women there are. You have to venture out but imagine being in a city with lets just say 55,000 women, some may be married, some gay, not interested in you, and I make that low like only 20% are interested in you that's 11,000 women, that's still a lot. Then I make it 30% of that 11,000 you are interested in. That's 3,300 women that find you attractive and vice-versa. TLDR: it is a numbers game, find them. They are women int…

Yeah I agree, somehow during the pandemic, my use use of social media has slowed. (Reddit doesn't count for me), IG, Twitter, FB are not useful

I'm speaking to you and me here, but here's what I have learned, I practice most of these, but still working on some: One, start by being honest, real confidence never comes from a lie. The more you tell you truth, whether you did good, bad, it's makes people happy, sad, if someone asks you something be honest, the truth will set you free. Two, picture the ideal version of you let's say five years from now. Every detail hair, teeth, body, job, house, martial status, kids, what he does in a day, …

Polo Blue, Versace Eros, Gucci Guility, Jean-Paul Gaultier Le Male, and Calvin Klein Obsession and those are the top shelf ones. If i'm just putting on something to smell nice, I get Calvin Klein Eternity or Nautica Voyage.

I am an introvert, and tell people quite often: I'm introverted not shy, I'm quiet not antisocial. I do not fault many people because often people want to categorize as just one thing, but as life will tell you, hardly anyone you meet is just one thing.

Yes it does it helps greatly with social skills. I've worked at Best Buy in my days, and it really helped to pick up on social cues, listen more, get more outgoing. Retail can really suck after like 3-4 months, at least it did for me.

No, no, and no. It is not good to date a coworker, I know you know some people who it has worked out for, I mean my parents met at work and they're still together over 30 years, but I am telling you NO. It is far too risky, too vulnerable to a sexual harassment suit, and just too many bad outcomes. Please try to meet women elsewhere, they are many women out there. Take it from experience, NO

Yeah act like it didn't happen, don't do that negging or backhanded compliment stuff, for me I never liked it. If she throws you one, you have better experience on how to pass it, if not hey there are literally millions of girls on this planet, so if this one does like you fine. She'll go her way and you'll go yours

Yes, that would have been a good response, and again say it sort of jokingly like you are answering her question, but in a playful tone. Like many things the best way to get it right is to get it wrong. A quote I heard from Jocko Wilnik and he learned it from a field manual is "Other than death, all failure is psychological". It stinks to be wrong, but as long as you've learned, have experience, and aren't dead. You'll be fine. Just try again.

simplest help I can give is to agree & amplify or ignore it just keep going with whatever you were doing. I'll give you one I failed because why not it happens and unless you get them a lot it can be hard to spot. In college, I remember I started talking to a girl at the bar. Conversation went well, she was from Dallas, and I even knew the HS she went to because a few famous athletes went to that HS, and she was impressed by that. Our convo was going so well her friends were calling her over and…

I mean yeah a better to sum it up is "lot of people want what it looks like but not many wants what it feels like" or even the better and simpler the story of the little red hen. It doesn't get easier than that.

Yeah I think about this one a lot too. In my free time, I'm usually playing golf, video games, reading some books (usually sports, self-help, or comedy) or watch movies (many classic movies, I've even started watching some Japanese and Korean movies). When it's not a pandemic, I go to sporting events, amusement parks, and domestic traveling

You are telling the truth, I'm black, and those lame excuses can come quick like: "She doesn't like black guys" "I might scare her" It's all BS man

I was at a bar, one time, and started to chat up this cute girl and like 6 seconds in she interrupts mr, just says "No" and walks away, I did not even ask her a question yet. It actually was hilarious. Other than that, just a cold shoulder are the ones that stick out and even that happens rarely on a rejection.

True confidence comes from honesty, insecurity is the child of lies. be honest as possible to achieve true confidence.

That is the best tip looking back, I went to a college with over 10,000 people, I still talk to only 5 of them. If it works great, if not you will not likely see them again in 3 years.

I am not, where I live (VA Beach, Virginia) there is not much to do in the winter if there was not Covid, but I do not go out at all right now outside of takeout, supermarket, andgas It is fine because I have improved myself. After a few years of procrastination, I am going to back law school in the fall, I worked on some cooking and mediating skills. I feel overall my time is being spent well.

That and The game are the only dating books I ever read, and Models is the only one you need. It's best to be honest, it is the best way to not waste anyone's time.

the mentality I had to drill in my brain, again only speaking for me, was these women are rooting for you. Women want to meet a confident, sincere, and smart man. They would love for you to be that man. Even if she has a boyfriend, that woman probably won't be upset if you approach her like a human being. She'll likely feel good about it, because she'll know men still are attracted to her, and it help her confidence likely. It is win for you because you know that woman wasn't for you, she is tak…

Yeah I can agree, this forum is supposed to be like watching game film after a game to improve your technique, then practice more, repeat. If you are not practicing (going out), playing the game (talking to women), just watching film. It’s not much help, it’ll help, but not much help like talking to ladies

I will say this: I think that is a mistake almost 100% will make and only some will learn, because I had to learn that one the hard way.

This is so right man, I worked at an electronics store you may can guess where and the man flirting going on with customers. . . . It really did help my confidence because I always had to approach people. I had a job on the phone doing tech support for a cable company and that helped with my phone game.We had time when helping with customers tv and I would just talk, free associate, improve, and just had to make my own amusement and the best was just that. I had flirted with ladies on the phone …

quitting porn that crap is useless and messes up your game. Seriously Google it. I wrote down the things that made me uncomfortable and did them until I was comfortable and that list keeps getting crossed of everyday.
