I don't see the wrong in him trying to profit out of his work as long as he creates value. If he doesn't create value, he won't be rewarded, it's simple. If he does, there's no reason why he shouldn't. It's a capitalist system. This is not the fucking USSR. If you create value, you get the reward you earned for the work you've done.

I don't understand how you guys don't get depleted during workouts. I find that if I don't eat a sizable amount of carbs before workout, my strength is much lower and the mood I have in the gym isn't the same. I wonder how bad it would be if I was working out fasted.

Great post. This is a brilliant mindset to deal with past failures. Thanks for sharing it, redpall.

Nah, dont say this. It's fucking tryhard. Less is more. Just say "alright" and go radio silent for about a day or two. Don't even need to explain what you did the last day, let the hamster spin.

I stopped the week I started lifting. Been over one and a half year since. Your mind is playing tricks on you. You're rationalizing your addiction. You're looking for reasons to keep smoking. The ones you stated are exactly that. Nowhere did you mention the money you spend, or the horrid smell that it leaves on your breath and hands, the fact that it's terrible for your health and so on. If you're lifting, there really isn't any fucking point in smoking. If you're not lifting, start this week. I…

It's survival of the fittest. I met a few people who're studying Marine Biology. Think about it. Spending five years of your life, paying for all the expenses, so you can have a degree in fucking marine biology. Considering I live in a country that's been going through economic problems for a long time now, these people have no tangible future. At the end of the day, you shouldn't care what these people do. They're responsible for their actions.

I swear if I read one more post about a guy that started hitting the gym 3 months ago turning into a self congratulatory post about how great he now looks I'm gonna BUSSSTT.

I think OP has a point. I've seen countless posts here about guys being "into lifting" for 3 months and posting results of how women are treating them differently. It's fucking laughable.
