Take one masculine feature..... You would lose muscle mass, hence not be able to fight as well nor be as muscular as before. Therefore, you would be less masculine.

Assuming you are a man, if I kidnapped you and forcibly injected you with testosterone blockers and female hormones, you’d become more feminine. So where is the lie?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/25 11:59 AM

Both men and women owe to a society that subsidizes relationships. Child tax credits and the like. We all owe money every year in taxes. We all literally owe women relationship and childbirth subsidies.

The answer is unironically masculinity lol Feeling secure comes with a sense of confidence and resolve.

I don't think femininity is fragile at all. Femininity is oftentimes defined by the lack of skill, expertise and knowledge. Throw a ball like a girl. Drive like a girl. I could go on, but in many respects, femininity is seen as an absence of prowess and proficiency. Granted you can find topics where femininity is proficient in. In the Old South, finishing schools focused on preparing girls for marriage and domestic life. These schools emphasized social graces, etiquette, and domestic skills like…

I'm not sure what to tell you. Do you think Volodymyr Zelenskyy "hates men?" Drafting men is a hard choice to make but is in many instances necessary. Feminism, again, is largely a fair weather belief. You don't really get the privilege when you are invaded by other people and require a draft to survive. I don't think politicians who support the draft hate men despite the fact that it is indeed misandry. Same goes for misogyny. Many churches and religious groups are misogynistic but not all of t…

Again, misogyny nor misandry is not necessarily "hatred." I know these are loaded moralized words for you

the systemic discrimination was against women The systemic discrimination was also against men because it forced men to join. Even today, women are allowed to join but men are forced to so your point is moot. what do you do to help men against the draft? What are you talking about? I already told you I support the draft and probably other misandrist beliefs too. Why would I help men against it?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 05:38 PM

I am a feminist and I don't think is misandrist , as the draft wasn't done for the hatred of men. Misogyny, nor misandry is not mere hatred. Misandry is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against men or boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 05:16 PM

but it was men who didn't let women join wars Again, irrelevant. It's still misandry lol Misandry is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against men or boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:43 PM

Because it's literal systemic discrimination and fits the literal definition of prejudice? It is by definition misandry. The draft was created by men Again, irrelevant... Both kings and queens (and men and women) can absolutely engage in misandry lol Why is this so difficult for you? It is not even controversial... even feminists agree that the draft is misandrist and that patriarchy hurts men too....and is perpetuated by men and women alike.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 04:20 PM

Do you believe that King's can't engage in misandry? What do you mean why? Both kings and queens can absolutely engage in misandry lol What is your implication? That kings can not ever engage in misandry? This is not even controversial lol even feminists agree that the draft is misandrist and that patriarchy hurts men too.... and obviously kings (and queens) perpetuate and engage in this. Hence, the OP is wrong. Misandry does cause violence, not mere hurt feelings.

I know a few left wing doomer men who complain about capitalism and they are quite RP and it gets them laid with that particular demographic of women.

The draft absolutely assumes men are solely capable but also implies they are disposable. That is still prejudice. https://oxford-review.com/the-oxford-review-dei-diversity-equity-and-inclusion-dictionary/benevolent-prejudice-definition-and-explanation/ Benevolent prejudice is still prejudice, in addition to the negative prejudice of treating them as disposable. This is not even controversial lol even feminists agree that the draft is misandrist and that patriarchy hurts men too....

Again irrelevant. Whether it’s a king or queen it’s still misandry

Quote me where I claimed that it’s only poor men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 08:50 AM

It is irrelevant if men started it or a man who was voted into power by women started it lol it’s still misandry. It only has to be misandry to prove the OP wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 08:48 AM
3

This OP covers historical context so current so your point is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 08:47 AM

Misandry is the hatred, contempt, or prejudice against men or boys.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 08:45 AM

That’s irrelevant. Kings and Queens treating men as disposable still leads to mass destruction, hence your OP is false. From Cleopatra to Elizabeth and Njinga to Meir, women have proved every bit as resolute as their male counterparts and willing to conquer. Your OP is demonstrably false. Both female and male leaders engaged in misandry and caused massive amounts of death and destruction.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:46 AM

Queens and female rulers and leaders have absolutely sent men to war….regardless, that’s still misandry. Kings are capable of misandry too lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:41 AM

The willingness and ease to which men were drafted and used as war pawns (misandry) also causes violence against women. Treating men as disposable has not led to only hurt feelings but massive amounts of death and destruction.

It's economic but cultural and yes, various conservatives are indeed liberals. Stressing individual responsibility and the importance of free competition is a tenet of neoliberalism. It is not "progressive" though.

Being a reader of the paper is irrelevant to your implication here: WaPo is owned by Bezos, so I'd hardly call it a liberal paper lol Again, what is your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 02:37 PM

You are in a debate sub? What do you mean? What is your point? WaPo is owned by Bezos, so I'd hardly call it a liberal paper lol You are implying Bezos is not liberal and I am challenging that implication. What is the point of being on a debate sub if you are unwilling to defend your implications? What is your point of even participating in a debate sub if you are unwilling to engage in debate?

Those are the exact things that Bezos foundation spends millions on. https://www.thenation.com/article/archive/jeff-bezoss-other-endeavor-charter-schools-neoliberal-education-reforms/ And are the precise things that progressives criticize him for... https://inthesetimes.com/article/know-your-billionaire-jeff-bezos-richest-amazon-founder-ceo

What do you mean if I say so? I didn't invent neoliberalism lol WaPo is not a "progressive" outlet, but it's certainly a "liberal" one.

Neoliberals are liberals.

Yeah I think there’s “BP” according to RP and then there is what is commonly referred to as blue pill in this sub. Lots of people on this sub are flaired blue pill yet ostensibly don’t consider themselves "unenlightened." But that’s a boring semantic distinction and argument that doesn’t at all address the points I made in my second paragraph that I find worthy of spending my time discussing.

I don’t think it really does come naturally to most… it came “naturally” to boys in the past because they had older cousins, uncles, older brothers, social circles. That’s not really a thing for many in this generation. You simply have the privilege of seeing a 1980’s boys conversation about getting girls at the bowling alley but now it’s online instead. So claiming it “comes naturally” is simply because in prior generations it was learned via social circle and not the internet. There is nothing…

I agree the best guides are less rigid. But as long as heterosexual women are attracted to masculinity then there will be guides. Guides would only have no use if women were attracted to gay little twinks at the same rate as they are towards conventionally masculine men. And that doesn’t mean you have to be ultra-masculine to attract women either. I think this is the true reason why it’s not “mainstream.” You are not going to see many liberal talking heads condoning a guide to be masculine.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 12:17 AM

I agree any guides need to be scientifically backed, but that has nothing do to with deer not being a monolith.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 12:13 AM

Fishing and hunting is analogous too. Deer are not a monolith either but there are absolutely great deer hunting guides and manuals out there. Something not being a monolith doesn’t exclude it from basic guides and manuals.

Again, I’m not comparing your dog to a needle. That’s not how analogies work lol I am comparing FINDING your dog and FINDING a needle. You are not comparing needles to dogs when you say “finding your dog is like finding a needle in a haystack.” You are comparing the difficulty in finding your dog with the difficulty in finding a needle. If you asked me to help you look for your dog and I said finding him would be like finding a needle in a haystack and you honestly replied: “my dog is not a need…

Big yikes sweaty indeed In all seriousness, do you truly, actually in all earnest believe you can’t have a manual on anything if the thing in question is not a monolith?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 07:26 PM
5

Do you not understand analogies or something? If I told you finding your lost dog is like finding a needle in a haystack, I am not calling your dog a needle or equating him to being a needle at all really. I am comparing the complexity of finding your dog and finding a needle. Plenty of things are not monoliths and yet we still have effective manuals and strategies for dealing with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/25 07:23 PM

No dog is a monolith either but we still have dog care manuals and generally accepted strategies for raising a dog. Same thing with sex and gender. There are absolutely generally accepted sex strategies. Foreplay, dirty talk, taking it slow, oral etc… are all accepted strategies for men despite women not being a monolith. Dating advice not being mainstream has more to do with the topic being a minefield for liberals and requires wide sweeping generalizations about women (men) and human nature th…
