that was then, this is now. society, western society, pushes for men to respect women. whatever Islam is doing as nothing to do with what's going on, or what this thread is about. people can do on about what Islam is doing to women, but ultimately they do nothing about it.

how did society encourage men to hate women? if anything society has been pushing for men to respect women for a very long time.

even so, most men are unable to find jobs normally through no fault of their own. it's not because they're lazy, it's because they get screwed. even if they do have jobs there are cases where they get discriminated against. workplace hostility isn't limited to just women.

A guy spending his entire paycheck on a woman to try and get sex is an example of "toxic masculinity". So please stop replying to me, you're out of your league here. You have no idea what you're talking about. No, it's just called being a shitty person, just like how you call a woman gaslighting a guy for free food with no intention of being in a relationship a shitty person.

Don't tell someone that they're wrong simply because you don't agree with them. The term has been widely used in a negative light to insult men. you notice why there is always a talk about toxic masculinity but not toxic feminitiy or postive masulinity?

If you aren't that's what it sounds like. And please don't assume that I'm just saying things out of my butt. If you believe in the statistics you showed then that's fine but don't go assuming something of us when we bring reasons why we are doubtful about it, because we have every reason to

Why are you strawmanning us? We said it could be an exaggerating because women tend to get very emotional around subjects like these. That's not diminishing what could happen to them, but literally any joke about a woman or any attraction is being viewed as harassment. Yeah I agree there are certain jokes you can't say about a woman, but when women can make jokes about men that make them feel uncomfortable without consequences there is a certain bias that needs to be addressed. Have you heard of…

This why I said feminism only helps women. Why do they focus on victims of patriarchy so much? Patriarchy just means "male in charge" meaning they view men, especially those in high positions, as the enemy. So egalitarians are named as such to remove themselves from feminism. And no, BLM does not represent all lives. They don't even give a damn about black people? What black neighborhoods did they give money to? Back owned businesses? Schools? They only come out and march when a black man gets s…

Accept that's exactly what feminism is, a movement to help women. That's how it always was. That's why a movement to help both men and women is called egalitarian.

We are not dismissing the experiences of what female victims went through. Not at all. The problem is that most people are dismissing what male victims of these crimes are put through, which is what you are doing right now. This form is discussing the negative effects of what these cases have on men, and you and people like you keep trying to say women have it worse. No. It is equally bad for everyone. We would like to discuss it but you are not interested in listening at all. So yeah, you aren'…

considering the push to protect women over the past few years (#MeToo was what? 2 years ago?) that's very unlikely. if she wanted, she could have very much kept her mouth clamped and let the man rot in jail for the rest of his life, and no one would care. this has been happening for a very long time, long before the Duke Lacross Case which everyone should have learned from.

My parents have always given me flack for not going to get a Master's degree, but with how hostile colleges have become for men I really have no reason to go back. A bachelor is enough for most jobs anyway.

I feel like the point he's giving is that concept of toxic masculinity is already dumb because there is always toxic behavior in both men and women. by using "toxic femininity" against them, he's pointing out the pointlessness of "toxic this and that".

they don't hate women at all, they just hate the establishment that makes it easy for women to go after men with impunity.
