Been having this same exact problem, but I think I might have found a solution. I'll be talking to someone and I'll feel the convo coming to an end and I'll be like "alright, be safe in this heat" and I'll walk away. But I dont think it's that big of a deal, recently I've started to flesh it out a little more and say something like "Alright I'm gonna get outta here, you enjoy the rest of your day" or something along that line (whatever's more appropriate for the situation)
