What’s the key to a good long term relationship? Always keep a girl wanting, once she has everything from you she wants from her checklist she will then be bored and leave anyways. If a girl wants marriage, say no and she will keep putting in effort in the hopes of achieving it. If she leaves, then you dodged a bullet since she wasn’t after you anyways, only after a legal document tying the state and you two together financially.

Stop aiming for marriage. Why are you getting married? You can do everything you desire without marriage. All marriage is, is a legal contract between the state and the couple to tie yourselves down financially, it’s the killer of romance.

Sadly that wisdom is not apparent with culture, religion and Hollywood not portraying that reality enough. Most people learn through trial and error for this part of their life.

Women are typically controlled by their emotions just like young children. When they tell you something, even I love you and want to marry you, it’s not a commitment like it would be for rational men, its instead just an indicator of how they feel in that moment. This can change for them even by the next moment or day and they see nothing wrong with it because their feelings are valid and important in their minds rather than having any sense of honor or code men live by.

The best therapy is self help type books over a therapist. But talking makes people feel validated.

If you have no kids and can manage it, it can really help you save up a healthy nest egg over 6 months to a year. Look up videos on YouTube. Apps like IOverlander can help you find spots to park overnight. Gym for showers, good luck!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
