Does she trust you to be a man?The KOB has just swapped very shitty behaviors/attitudes for better or slightly better ones. Instead of X Box he's in the gym. Instead of scrolling through social media after work he's engaged with his family at the dinner table. Instead of sleeping in on his day off he's pursuing a hobby. All of that only gets you so far, and I just made that realization a few weeks ago. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 19/06/19 10:41 PM
Trying to get started with young kidsDon't let LIFE suck the life out of you and your family. You're the source of vitality, excitement and novelty for these people you live with and are responsible for. | /r/askMRP | 19/06/19 06:21 PM
Trying to get started with young kidsMy wife is similar. Partly its because she was raised by uptight Christian parents who think every ounce of their life needs to be sacrificed for their kids, and that somehow a manageable amount of misery is a good thing (self-inflicted martyrdom). What has gone a long way in resolving this, for me, is just trying to bring more fun and excitement into our lives. Once I had gotten on track with lifting and doing stuff with my kids I realized my wife sounded like an 80 year old woman. You know who… | /r/askMRP | 19/06/19 06:11 PM
Trying to get started with young kidsIf you aren't becoming a better version of you, if you aren't following your mission, taking care of your health, spending quality time with the wife AND kids, you've already abandoned them. You aren't pulling your weight if you're slacking in these areas. That said, I personally have 4 free hours every day after work. I work 7 days in a row and I get a Tuesday, Weds/Thur and 4 day weekend (Fri-Mon) off a month. I have to prioritize based on my MAP. Currently the high priority is my health follo… | /r/askMRP | 19/06/19 05:52 PM
She's a reflection of meLots of 2 steps forward 1 step back type stuff. Lots of small moments of success followed quickly by realizing how far I still have to go. Its gotten/getting easier for sure. I really was ready to burn it down when I started; I didn't give a fuck if I stayed married or got divorced and that made it a lot easier to focus on improving myself and my relationship with my kids. It had stopped being just about sex a long time ago for me. As much as it gets repeated, it really is all about STFU, Lift a… | /r/askMRP | 15/06/19 06:20 PM
She's a reflection of meYou don't lead her, you lead you. If she follows, cool. If not, cool. Have you ever seen your kids pester your wife for a treat or a toy? That's what your wife is telling you when she says you pester her about sex- that you're acting like a child and 1) she absolutely does NOT want to fuck a child and 2) she doesn't need one the pressure of your neediness when she already has kids. I don't know much about Red Pill, I'm not even quite a year in myself but I can tell you from personal experience, … | /r/askMRP | 15/06/19 09:49 AM
Peter, don't you know who you are? (How to remember being a boy)I think I've been skirting around the edges of this bit of it. I've worked on it a little learning to re-game my wife (and other women), and I've definitely gotten better at it since committing to spending more time with my kids, but I haven't given it the concentration it demands. I certainly don't feel as boring or stuffy as I used to but I've still got a good long road ahead. | /r/askMRP | 21/04/19 05:22 PM
Peter, don't you know who you are? (How to remember being a boy)The thing with momento mori is, if you're trying to live it and you're a sullen cunt, you're doing it wrong. | /r/askMRP | 21/04/19 04:41 PM
Peter, don't you know who you are? (How to remember being a boy)This is the advice I didn't know I need. Thanks. | /r/askMRP | 21/04/19 02:43 PM
Peter, don't you know who you are? (How to remember being a boy)We're in a similar boat (30 this year, 3 kids w/ one on the way, spent my 20s trying to make a life for my family). Just keep plugging away at it. PM if you want. | /r/askMRP | 21/04/19 01:10 PM
Peter, don't you know who you are? (How to remember being a boy)Fuck yeah, that's definitely a key I'm missing. Good advice. | /r/askMRP | 21/04/19 01:06 PM
Peter, don't you know who you are? (How to remember being a boy)I like the tech sabbatical idea. And probably not just for myself but the whole family could use a few consecutive days off. | /r/askMRP | 21/04/19 12:59 PM
Peter, don't you know who you are? (How to remember being a boy)I hear what you're saying. My suspicion is I just need to keep at it, like maybe this isn't a "problem", just something to notice, be aware of and keeping on struggling. One of those things that gets worked out in the process, if that makes sense. | /r/askMRP | 21/04/19 12:52 PM
(Un)Fucking HabitsThis is great. All of us new guys (rightfully) hear LIFT + SIDEBAR. It really is that easy, but I think a lot of us (myself for sure) have been so fucked up for so long that even making the simple decisions of what program to run in the gym, how to start integrating AA/AM/Fogging are lost on us. The pill opens the birdcage, and we understand everyone who is already outside is trying to get us out flying around and free with them, but the Nice Guy-ness runs so deep I think some of us see the door… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 20/04/19 01:42 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - February 26, 2019OYS #2 Physical: Had a good week. I had three weeks off but got back and hit all my workouts plus cycling. The program I’m running is an LP based on percentages of 2RM so I had to take one day to test for those and recalibrate the program. I lost a ton of weight on my squat but I’ve also dropped 20 pounds of bodyweight so I expected that. I wasn’t expecting to PR my deadlift though, especially while eating in a deficit for weight loss. All in all my numbers didn’t suffer too much between the sho… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 26/02/19 03:01 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - February 19, 2019You're absolutely right. I quit in September when I started lifting and just lost interest in drinking at all (which is normal for me if I'm working out). It fucks up my hormone levels, my skin is worse and adds empty calories I don't need while cutting weight. I appreciate there's guys out there who can handle it, I'm just not one of them. So its got to go. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 23/02/19 12:59 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - February 19, 2019I see how wording it that way sounds a little weird. We decided toward the end of 2018 to have a 4th. She wanted to wait until summer or fall of 19 to start trying (my kids birthdays are August, September, October, she didn't want another one right around the same time). Our third one took about 5 months to actually conceive and I figured if we started to try early in 19 we might not actually get there until summer time. So I said if we're going to do this we have to start trying now. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 22/02/19 01:52 PM
Your wife didn't make you beta; YOU didInternalizing and accepting that I (not my wife) made myself a whiny, beta faggot was simultaneously the most terrifying, liberating and rage-inducing moment I've ever experienced. I wish all my friends who listened to my feminine bitching about my wife over the years would have been able to drop kick my ass into reality the way some of the guys at AskMRP did. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 19/02/19 06:22 PM
Own Your Shit Weekly - February 19, 2019This is my 2nd post since finding TRP/MRP in September 2018. Once I started lifting consistently, eating better, taking my kids away, a whole lot of shit got better. My wife even told me she couldn’t explain it but she felt like she was falling in love with me all over again (this is after being on the brink of divorce, again). Over the last couple weeks I’ve lost frame, done too much DEERing, and gotten back into some habits that make me a whiny bitch. I had a lot of shit come up in succession … | /r/MarriedRedPill | 19/02/19 02:12 PM

How to Lead my FamilyI've maintained control of the finances, one of my last strongholds. This weekend I've planned an outing for us and I've got a few other things for just the kids and myself she doesn't know about. The discipline issue is actually why I found MRP/TRP a few weeks ago- that's a top priority. Thanks for the input. | /r/askMRP | 13/09/18 10:52 AM
