I would definitely appreciate it A LOT.

Isn't it one of the same? For most people earnings= wage - taxes
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 04:27 PM
-1

Absolutely not. If you match hours worked and sectors, there isn't any difference. And a lot of studies even show women out earning men in some sectors. The old and biased studies compared average women to average men income. Which is bad methodology since averages are pulled by the extremes, and on average men work more hours than women and in higher paid sectors.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 04:19 PM

Except that women aren't being paid less.

Was never approached my entire life, so no way to know how I would prefer it
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 03:21 PM

Correct, madam.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 12:06 AM

His main point was that he has female friends if he wants to have fun. The paying part that you fixated on is just an addition
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:52 PM
2

He's absolutely correct. Those are vastly different competencies. You can be extremely successful and outgoing while still being shy and awkward to not approach
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:40 PM
3

I'd say there's a huge difference between rational acceptance and emotional/deep acceptance. The former definitely helps, while the latter is "real" acceptance. However its extremely hard to reach emotional acceptance even with rational one.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/26 02:03 PM

Why is being pulled down by the earth acceptable to anybody? Same reason, that's the world we live in, either you accept it or live the rest of your life in agony wanting reality to be different.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 11:06 PM

At which age do you separate the two? Never had a relationship by 18? 20? 25? I think that's what this whole discussion is about
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 11:04 PM

OP you're an awful friend. You hold this guy, who by your own admission is trying to get to know you in such disdain and low regard that you think belittling him in reddit is a good thing. You're framing incompatibility as some sort of character flaw from his part. It's now, what is a character flaw is pretending yo be nice to someone you clearly hate and playing with his emotions. I bet the moment OP meets a "more interesting" guy she'll throw this friendship like a used cumrag, and unfortunate…

You raise some pretty valid points. I think most of your reluctance comes from people having hidden expectations from other people which ends up hurting them in the end. Which is a fair assessment, i myself suffered from doing things because i wanted my friends to react in a certain way (prioritise me, etc..) and it almost always led to disappointment and bad feelings in me. But i think it doesn't have anything to do with seeking romance in an activity. It's a result of your goal being how other…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 10:40 AM
3

Why is that wrong? What's the problem in doing things for a benign goal that's different from just doing an activity? There is nothing bad/predatory for doing social things for the sake of social goals. I even find it preferable for people to do that in order to know someone first than just thinking with their genitalia and going for people purely based on looks (which is what happens in cold approaches). If someone joined a group activity to find new friends, do you find it wrong? If no how's t…

How dare people get to know others first before deciding to pursue them romantically?

I don't think most people think "leads to" when they see an axis. But here we disagree. Have a great day
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 07:05 AM
1

They're clearly a single axis. Whenever you put two things on one axis you make the assumption/statement that they are the same thing just in different sizes/amount. Like introversion/extroversion. Both sre essentially "how likely you are to want to talk to people"

The graph, by pretending they're the same.

Noone is arguing against that. But not all sexual violence is caused by sexism. E.g sane sex violence
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 05:40 AM

The graph makes it pretty clear that the authors think sexual violence == worse sexism. I mean they exist on the same axis
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 10:10 PM

Why don't you take 2 seconds and think how they can also be unrelated? You're literally arguing that because some rectangles are squares, then all rectangles are squares

Sir/madam. How is that relevant to my comment?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 06:40 PM

Wedgies are a form of sexual violence, yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 06:19 PM

No? If a gay guy raped another, is he sexist towards men? Or a lesbian? Or a more mellow example, wedgies etc...
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 05:55 PM

Cmon, sexism isn't sexual violence. This is just trying to muddy the water.

The guys who wait around for women to make such an initiating move are generally going to spend a lot of time single and dateless before they realize that it just doesn't happen Hi, 23, almost never initiated due to different reasons and been on 1 date my entire life. So i can attest to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/26 08:47 AM

Get a load of this clown. Bro you literally work a minimum wage job, not just any job, but one of the lowest skilled ones. Your entire job is to help them. The last person that should have so much toxicity for others for basic human mistakes or just ignorance, especially to the point of hating an entire gender is you. Don't think that i think lowly of minimum wage workers, but your mindset is despicable.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/26 10:07 PM

You're the one that said "not a great material", so i assume you'd have a reason to say that. And saying that it's just unrealistic is perfectly okay. But i think you're confusing a fantasy to an expectation. I don't think anyone expects people to love them unconditionally, we know humans aren't like that. But one can hope, and most people mean with unconditionally that someone would love them for who they are rather than what they have to offer materialistically.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 07:54 PM
4

Cool, enjoying anime is also childish. If you have any better argument for why wanting to be loved unconditionally is bad other than "but kids" I'd love to hear it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 06:32 PM
3

Sure, but looking at someone doesn't hurt their autonomy. Okay, it's weird and creepy. But you don't hurt them in any way, so you don't need consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 06:46 AM

You don't need consent to move your eyes somewhere wtf.

I can't have relationship baggage because i have never been in one! Boom, gotem. Wait....
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 07:00 AM
3

Yes, your genetics/income/personality is so flawed that women are fundamentally repulsed by it Personally I've come to accept this fact about my personality. Still doesn't prevent it from hurting me or making me feel sad when I'm reminded of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 11:49 PM
7

Is that supposed to be an insult? I'd love to be unconditionally loved like a child.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 11:44 PM

Most of the dating questions and advice is about even reaching the first date. And i also disagree, even in a first date, both sides talk very differently and respond differently than they do to their long term friends / relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 12:11 AM

They are very much different. Making someone be attracted to you is very different from maintaining an established relationship. It varies all the way from body language to what you talk about to how confident you are with strangers.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 11:58 PM
1

That women aren't attracted to shy guys or men that don't approach a lot (not necessarily shy)
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 05:24 PM
1

I agree intuitively, but i can't state it confidently. Do you have an idea about what better studies may be?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:57 AM
1

I'm not talking purely in a "looks" way though it is certainly a part. Also social skills, mannerisms, speech patterns, intonation, cascade, eye contact, body language, numerous other factors. I read once a study with around 20+ "flirting factors" As to your example, how are we to know that they are different? Maybe people who got attracted to each other after 3 months would also be attracted to each other in speed dating, the only thing that changed is emotional availability? We don't know if l…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:52 AM

Nah people in a relationship owe each other sex, not in s forced way, but in a duty way. Same way that married people owe each other monogamy unless divorce / specifically discussed it.

So you just proved hid point
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:42 AM

What? If I lose a chess match and stockfish tells me i made a blinder, next game i make a different move and still loose, this means that stockfish doesn't know how to play? This is what you sound like. Granted not all people who say "choose better" are good people
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:38 AM

Lesbians orgasm more yet have less sex than hetero or gay couples. So good sex != Higher frequency
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:34 AM
2

What? You don't agree that life partners, "the ones" should have the strongest affection to one another? Imagine if you discovered your partner is more affectionate and passionate about someone else, would you be cool with that? We usually call that emotional cheating
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:32 AM
9

Go say the same about a minority and crime, see how far that'll get you. Also, no statistic in the world supports your presumption. You're just filled with hate and misandry. Sorry you've been treated badly to reach such radical conclusions.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:17 AM
1

Sure, but it's extremely to near impossible to observationally study friend-to-lover or warmer acquaintance relation development and its fsctors. However I'll push back and say observational speed dating (not all speed-dating studies were actual speed dating) studies are a very good way to study attraction since more objective people can see factors clearer than who got charmed.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:15 AM
2

Also with technological advancements came better and better ways to spend time that doesn't involve social interactions. I know that I suffered greatly from it even if i didn't have social media until like 20, and still have no Instagram/Snapchat/whatever
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:04 AM
11

Did you seriously accuse 50% of the world's population of being manchildren that can't cook or clean and are always on the couch? Thanks for providing his point.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:01 AM
2

For example, speed dating observation studies found that people are attracted to different things than what their stated preference is (being asked).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 11:57 PM
2

Then you're arguing in mars. This entire thread is about a world where women promoted to be single mothers. A hypothetical about a society where women go to the sperm bank to get pregnant/have unprotected sex instead of finding a partner. Single mother households can be also explained by women having unprotected sex with the same men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 06:24 AM

They are definitely gaslighting since they are trying to undermine experienced life and make people believe that the reason they're failing is different than the real reason. It's also toxic because it makes perfectly good people believe they have a character flaw. Also, women are different. Cool, bacteria is also different. So we can't have any generalisations and scientific theories about them right? Do you think we’re all... Did you read my first sentence where i specifically said "society"?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 09:24 PM

In large yes, society gaslights men about what makes them attractive. For example, the most common retort to attract women is to "be yourself" and "be a good man". While most studies that did rank-comparisons about traits that made men attractive, authenticity and values ranked very low.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 03:38 PM

You have so much grievance about men that you may as well be lesbian. Have you tried being lesbian?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 03:33 PM
1

True, but in the russo-ukraine conflict most of the casualties are soldiers (estimated around 1.7 million!). I still can't see the argument that men don't suffer disproportionately to women in war. Agreeing to that also doesn't negate women suffering in other ways
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:26 PM
1

Idk, how many soldiers are dying jn russo-ukraine now?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 02:26 AM
3

I think everyone's view is somewhat self centric. But no, your example is not at all similar since there isn't an inherent unchangeable trait that renders 50% of the society unable to receive help. Again, you gotta argue in the context of the hypothetical.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 12:53 AM
-2

Well they should. Btw I'm neither European nor live in Europe.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 12:50 AM
7

Same logic can be applied to "whoever can pee standing". That's just discriminating men by proxy because they don't have the physical ability to rear children. (Again we're talking about single parent hypothetical society)
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 12:06 AM
6

An older form of masculinity that involves not having a womb? Damn modern day masculinity is crazy. In the hypothetical society where women "need no man" you can't achieve your goals without marginalizing men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 11:08 PM

Mostly. Yes. And it varies wildly from war to war, with modern ones (ww1-2) having more civilians.

Also kant, you can't forget my boy kant.

with no other side effect Oh gee, maybe you should research what you preach because it's just dangerous. Guys, no. There is no known drug that "has no side effect". Especially anti depressants

This is patently wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:56 PM

The desire to pair bond is one of the most deeply ingrained goals in human psychology. Wtf are you on about?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:50 PM
3

What? Who told you that? For a couple of years when i was lonely i wished to have the need for companionship(not sex) just removed from me. I'd rather have no interest in partnering up than being lonely.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:46 PM
5

Oh jolly let me get pregnant in my balls then because I'd like to receive such resources in this hypothetical. See now?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:41 PM
1

Way more comfy that getting fucking impaled by a sword/bullet for most of human history
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:39 PM
4

Or a reflection of hypergamy where women sleep with a minority of men. No, no man want to raise your bastard that isn't his.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:35 PM
8

How would you make single motherhood economically viable without marginalizing men?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:29 PM
6

Actually yes, you erode your society by replacing this very society with another.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:26 PM

Yup, that makes him better than 80% of the population.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 10:22 PM

Evidently, from the obesity rate in the western world, most likely than not someone would choose burgers. Also a quick peek at "if you jad only one food your entire life what'd it be" threads/questions, also burgers.

That’s life. Life is not meant to be fair. Weak, shy men have never been desired by the majority of women. This is common sense. Bro you can't have those two comments at the dame time. Make up your mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 09:20 PM
1

That's a false comparison. A better comparison would be puzza hut/McDonald's/coca cola/ etc.. make way more money than your local salad company™. Does that mean that people prefer hamburgers to salad? Well god damn
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 09:18 PM
6

Oh no man, you never invest more than a few sentences with lilith. She'll never address your points
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 08:54 PM
1

Why would people make low effort comments? In a forum? In the internet? I can't see any reason why.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 07:15 PM
2

Sure, because more recent and higher quality evidence proved it to be false. Also it was in a time before modern personality/mental measurements were made. Probably even the measurements at the time weren't consistent. If you think all therapy schools (you still haven't specified which) are ineffective. Feel free to do research to prove that, or show how all current studies are wrong. You can become highly acclaimed if you do (not trying to be rude). But saying "it's bad" because "trust me bro" …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 07:12 PM
2

Do you know what we call red/blue/rainbow pill exercises/ "thought restructuring" that is proven to help one's well being? Just therapy. (Well to be precise there are a lot of treatments/therapy schools, but you get the point)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 07:08 PM
2

Because there has been so much evidence that documents the effectiveness of different therapy schools comparatively that calling therapy "snake oil" is spitting in the face of reason. Does it work for everyone? No. Has is been shown on a population basis to work way way better than placebo(snake oil)? Absolutely When you call therapy a sham as a discipline, do you mean cbt? Act? Psychotherapy? Drugs? Others that are proven to be ineffective? It's such a vast field that you can't generalise
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 07:03 PM
2

Oh cool, and how your clients find you? Is it a word of mouth or do you advertise yourself somehow?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 01:14 PM
-4

How is having consensual sex with someone is them "using you"?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 01:00 PM
6

What does that mean? Escort without the sex? Or like those chinese girlfriend for hire? Not trying to be rude
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 12:59 PM
10

You can't have trial and error when there's no trial.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 12:50 PM
7

I don't identify with any side. But being conceptually against therapy is just odd.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 12:32 PM
2

"well, the other side never took accountability!"? Well, winners never really have to take accountability until they lose. And if losers aren't taking accountability they'll never win.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 12:29 PM
2

Even people who are able to make formal debates oftentimes can't be fucked to write 5 sentences instead of 1 in reddit of all places.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 12:19 PM
3

Informal fallacies are overused. There are very reasonable reasons to "appeal to authority". It is also very reasonable to question a politician's stance by appealing to his nature/ actions of his past. Just because they have a name doesn't mean that using them is wrong. Which is why they sre called informal, nor formal fallacies. Their use/validity depends on the circumstance.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 12:13 PM
1

Cause they get matches way easier? I've seen a study that showed the rate of men and women who have used a dating app is very similar
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 01:24 AM
0

Yeah, and men are also people who can't really fake an orgasm unless there's a medical condition at play. Honestly, we're just arguing semantics at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 09:17 AM
1

I don't know. But I'd wager not very high. Still your argument that such women are bad therefore they shouldn't be sampled/considered is circular at best. Like many studies where if you take their "extreme" data points that they filtered out coincidentally disproves their findings. Also unrelated, but shy and serial killed aren't opposites. They're as orthogonal as they get.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:40 PM
3

a woman is more likely to be killed by a male intimate partner than by a bear. THAT WAS THE POINT. Then please, go to sleep in a cage with bears. After all, it's safer no? Stupid logic. Also, people are more likely to die in a car accident than a poisoned mushroom. And boy do i have a bag of poison mushrooms for you, please indulge yourself, it's safer than driving!
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:40 PM
2

"if we take all women who prefer the shy guys, then women prefer the shy guys" ass logic
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:38 PM
2

Here ya go: You really cant think of anything? Truly nothing like being likeable or funny or reliable or something? You genuinely think men only want to be seen as physically attractive and nothing else?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:14 PM
1

Two things: 1- you're confusing the two studies. Daughters and mothers is the first, I'm talking about the latter (dexa picture + income) 2- a better methodology would be to take a large sample size, split into two groups (or three/four to control if there are enough participants) and show both the same real pictures(not dexa) with one showing income and then see the rating difference
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:13 PM
1

people can fake orgasm, arousal and all that
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:07 PM
3

No, only sex
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 10:49 AM
2

Are you blind? He just did 2 comment above
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 10:42 AM
2

Interesting study. But i gotta say the methodology is shit. They presented the participants with DEXA images. Have you seen DEXA images? Physical attraction is extremely influenced by skin, facial structure, hair, clothing, etc... None of which can be seen through dexa. So i find it hard for anyone to look at a dexa and say (I'd tap that). Still interesting that income affected women scores.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 10:37 AM
1

Not really because you can find numerous examples for both sides.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 10:23 AM
3

I have no horse in this, but if your salad is tasteless, learn how to make a better one. Salads can be extremely tasty.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 10:22 AM
2

Absolutely not (depending on the area). In a lot of measurements, there are vast amounts of data and research. And most of the results are either higher male, or neutral. When you have a lot studies clustered around male to neutral the conclusion seems obvious. Afaik there hasn't been any consistent evidence for higher female variability(not neutral) aside from the one odd study
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 08:20 AM
1

I agree with your point But just want to say that as far as i know, the greater male variability hypothesis has been found out to be true for most things that has been seriously measured. Both cognitive and physical abilities. And also preferences and the likes. If I'm not mistaken the only thing women have higher variance in is some aspect of temperament.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 08:17 AM
1

Fair
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 08:06 AM
1

So i assume it's a yes? Does that affect your relationship? Since now your partner would probably have higher sex drive
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 08:00 AM
1

I'm wondering are you happy with the lack of sex drive due to birth control?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 07:55 AM
-1

I mean men can't really fake orgasm
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 07:54 AM
1

For sure, it just comes as a straight contradiction to the popular notion of "finding the one" and "together forever" that society likes to paint marriage as.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 12:16 PM
1

Where I live 62% of marriages last Even then that's awfully low
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 12:03 PM

Your study ironically proves the above statement. While men were more affected by the bystander effect, they're still more likely to help than women. (41vs31 ->19vs17)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 11:33 AM

He's clearly asking you.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 11:47 PM

Nay even the most common excuse, "personality" is largely out of ones control. People seriously suggesting for others to let go of their interests, change the way they think and talk, do hobbies they don't like just to get a partner. Yea sure, piece of cake.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 11:31 PM

You know the common feminist view is that men are at the top and women are at the bottom. In reality it's more like elite men are at the top, women in the middle, other men at the bottom. Both institutionally, societally and juridically.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:15 AM
8

Question, do you feel you were discriminated against because you were male or because the other person was better? Such a shit, ungenguine, loaded question. How were you discriminated against at school? I can give you one example from my life. I was a gifted student and got accepted to an early computer science bachelor's program for high schoolers where we should start at 10th grade. During the introduction and sign-up meeting, the head of the program stated straight up that women are preferred…

Tons of studies showed men who their peers ranked as more violent had more romantic success.

who's they? Women. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S1090513814000774 https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ab.21667 https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/02654075261460936 Notice that all of those studies are revealed attraction/success. What women (and men) say they want is not at all what they're usually attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 12:52 PM

I have yet to see where i indicated envy towards them. Even if being violent increases romantic prospects, I wouldn't want to become violent.

Where's the jealousy here? (Also it's envy)

The argument was that most men on dating apps are disgusting/overtly sexual. The counterpoint was a dude that never experienced such things. You out of nowhere changed the discussion to "but dates"

Wtf is this line of thinking. Imagine a doctor giving you medicine. This medicine didn't work, but another doctor(your brother) is adamant that the medicine does infact work. Then you come and say "well, you didn't swallow it right" Your line of thinking is literally "therapy works 100% of the time, when it doesn't, the patients are at fault" You see how stupid this sounds? You can't blame the patients when an intervention doesn't work

Something that only men are capable of? Deadlifting 500kg. Let's ignore the fact that only 3 men in the entire world can do that. But yeah. /s
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 05:37 PM

Why? I think his comment perfectly makes sense and represents his views
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 11:33 AM
2

Absolutely this. Every time i put making new friends as a main goal i strive towards led me to nothing but extreme mental anguish (since essentially my goal has became other people's behaviour). Now i have given up. I still socialise, i am still friendly, i still invite people from time to time. But I stopped expecting reciprocity or intimacy and stopped putting much effort rat racing. I'd rather live in dull loneliness than aching anguish.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:14 AM

I agree. My comment meant more about stigma about unsuccessful men (virgins), not necessarily single. Me being young affects the fact that i wasn't exposed to old stigmas against women. Which is why i don't think that bringing them up while discussing in a large lart gen z is relevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 02:49 AM

There’s a difference between a nice guy and a good guy. A good guy wouldn’t think like this. It's in human nature to compare. Especially for goals that they didn't achieve yet, so I don't think this distinction even matters. And just like there are awful men there are awful women. God knows men are just as guilty of dating awful mean women. On that we agree. I was trying to answer the question of "why men are more likely to 'convert'" not that all, or even most do
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 02:39 AM
1

On that I completely agree. But i despise the framing of "women see desperate men". The realistic explanation is that you see desperate people that you noticed. You can never know how many desperate people you missed. Same for depression, it's easy to see a clearly depressed/sad individual, but a lot of people hide it well, which is why psychologists undergo a lot lf training.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 02:36 AM

This is my last comment because it is getting tiresome. Dear reader, here we see the continuation of the dishonest argumentative style, I'll have to give her credit, it's an effective pattern. Firstly i want you to notice the framing. This keeps being recast as “angry entitled man thinks he deserves a woman,” even though that was never the argument. She does that because once this frame sticks, everything gets interpreted through this lense. You can see it from sentences like "and you got VERY u…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 02:27 AM

I don't live in the states. But I'll be honest i never heard any stigma against single women. The only thing i heard js the crazy cat lady and that's in the internet directed at old women. To be more accurate, there isn't really a stigma that I'm aware of for single, young (<40) women that i know of. (Btw what is a spinster, this thread is the first time i see this word?)
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 01:14 AM

You have said nothing useful or relevant to the conversation for 3 comments now. For people reading this, this is a great example of weaponized concern: notice that this individual stoped engaging the point, pathologized me as entitled/desperate/bitter, then rebrand the insult as "real feedback". Be careful from such people, they're pro at manipulation and disguising themselves as "good hearted". Your last comments are a lazy attempt to psychoanalyze a stranger because you don’t have a real resp…

You should read what "iron man" is. Anyway, thanks for the constructive argument. You baffled me with your very well thought out argument of "yeer a loser". Ironically strengthening my position.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 12:33 AM

I don't know. How many drug dealers/abusive men there are compared to virgins/ never had a date men? Your question was poised to counter the "women prefer drug dealers over losers" statement. Mine was poking fun at it. In any case, there are other stronger reasons not to be a criminal no matter if women sre more or less attracted to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 12:31 AM

i never said "slutty". ew. i don't use that word. the fact that you would even jump to the word slutty lets me know that you aren't the "genuinely nice guy" you think you are. That didn't take long at all for us to reach ad hominems. You truly are a wonderful person. "Slutty" only iron mans your example you dingus. thinking it does is concerning. /r/PurplePillDebate18/06/26 12:10 AM

It's that women usually don't have any problems attracting men, you can just exist and men will approach you. So when you see a guy with loud, slutty women you feel less of a loss or unfairness. Furthermore, society doesn't have a stigma against single women. Opposed to you being s genuinely nice guy, but has had 0 success in your entire life seeing the school bully and awful men attracting women, it's easier to question if the problem if how you act (which in this case, respectful and nice). Sure, but in real life it doesn't matter what is "right". Only what people think, especially when it comes to morality. Ugly people fight an uphill battle most of their lives in everything
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/26 11:57 PM

That doesn't mean those things are moral failings. Have you watched any children movies, books, shows or whatever? The morally ugly person is almost always portrayed as physically ugly. The bad witch is always ugly, wrinkled and crooked. The ruthless tyrant/ruler is often short/fat/grotesque, insecure and compensating for something. Villains being scarred. I can go on and on. Pretty privilege exists. And the opposite, ugly oppression/discrimination also exist. People just connect physical ugline…

Society actively condemns all sorts of things, that doesn't mean that grown-ass adults can just stop trying, stagnate in their maladaptive patterns, and feel sorry for themselves Why not? The reason people do a lot of things is because we are a social animal. If society is condemning things the people do, surprise surprise, some are gonna stop. You're advocating to continue specifically trying to improve social skills out of spite / just because. However at a certain point, you need to question …

We're talking about sex. Which is more indicative than "calling her/his boyfriend" Also, most studies don't phrase it like that exactly to prevent bias.

Most "choose better" comments are a result of a huge part of women in online discourse labeling pretty benign things as "creepy" or even worse. When you're a well meaning man, but are anxious and shy because you don't want the woman to feel uncomfortable, and are not well practiced or not very socially skilled and as a result get labelled a "creep", or even worse, a closeted rapist (i kid you not some women label shy behaviour as "rapist") for daring to approach women then it is only natural to …

How would you approach a man in public? Would you walk up to one who’s minding his own business and just say “you look cool. Let’s hang out.” If a woman did that to me I'd be head over heels for her.

I wouldn't call it conservative. It's just observing reality as it is. Reality isn't nihilistic, optimistic, or whatever. It just is. You have your circumstances currently, you decide what you need to do. It's only through acceptance can you pick the better option. Wallowing in the past or imagining a better world isn't gonna change reality or help you in any way. As to your example. If there are institutions or a society that is accepting, you can take them as a consideration in what you're goi…

I can hopefully make sense of the world salad. Probably not what the author intended, but i believe a similar conclusion. You're not to blame for some things in your life since a lot of things aren't really dependent on you. You also cannot alter the past, for that has already happened and it is also outside your control. You, the person in this moment can only do whatever is best in this very moment. So while you can't uncripple yourself, you can take responsibility (not blame) for where you ar…

That's what i argued for in my original comment is it not? I also added the argument that because moderate feminism doesn't openly oppose those extremists then it increases the likelihood of men hating feminism and women as a whole. So we agree more than we don't
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 05:10 PM
2

Oh i absolutely agree, every human group will have outliers and bad people. Unless you define a group as "all good people". What are you arguing exactly?

Human beings aren't robots and mainly driven by emotions. Big surprise there. (I'm not going to address your men are leas logical argument)
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 04:47 PM

Mate i was specifically referring to men-hating circles and spheres, what's so hard to understand? Unless you think it's impossible to achieve equality without hating men. Do you think hating men is ok? Why so?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 04:45 PM
3

I think i was pretty clear i was refering to the extreme cases. The extreme cases which currently aren't being opposed by the mainstream moderate feminist "voices". To be fully clear, I'm not against equality. I'm refering to young people (which this study studied) being exposed to men-hating voices without opposition, so they are more likely to get radicalised by them. Also your chimp analogy makes no sense, young boys aren't more privileged than girls. If anything it is the opposite, especiall…

And? I still believe it's true. Even if it's genders, races, nationalities, what have you
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 04:36 PM
2

Why so? You don't think being exposed to people who hate you just for being born a certain way increases the likelihood for someone to become the same kind of radical?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 04:13 PM
6

I'd say so. I think that because radical feminism put such a high emphasis on degrading men as a whole, and a lot of dei initiatives put biological sex over merit and the general talk about "men bad" a lot of people are swinging hard in the other direction of "no, no equal rights for women. I've seen where that leads". Essentially radical feminism hurts women's right in the public opinion since more mellow feminism doesn't outwardly stand against it.

A niche that made it one of the highest selling books. Here's a more realistic take: instead of saying "men ..." And "women..." How about we don't generalize an entire population? Especially when for most things, individual differences are higher than between sex differences by a large margin
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 09:05 PM

Do you think the only motivation is sex? Why do i then work a highly paid job 8 hours a day when i haven't had a date in my life? Hint: it's not for sex (I'm not getting any either way)
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 09:03 PM
1

Not the one you asked but i think it's just that women are the sexual selectors in our society and the fact that men have stronger sex drive. This in turn leads to why men are the ones who take the initiative and flirt with women. At first sex bots won't be as good as the real thing, but will be worth the saved hassle for a lot of men. Women can just keep picking between the men they have available

As opposed to female targeted romance? which definitely doesn't represent the woman being a literal sex slave and used like a toy. But hey, the guy is rich and a minotaur so it's ok.

I'm not going to re-enter this debate with you. I also don't see how a character attack ("Complaining about shit like this isn't something a good man would do") Is relevant in any way to this quote, or his original counter argument and quite frankly, I'm not even sure what you're debating / the point you're trying to make right now.

While at the same time spouting that "well, women smell all of your insecurities and know your entire history at a glance" as a response to someone struggling with dating.
