I will occasionally visit that subreddit. It’s so frustrating when you see how, for instance, the way they try to explain why more women go to college and men are not, and they just always blame men with cherry picked statistics and no real analysis. I want to start engaging, but then I realize that you’re arguing with people who tell you that the sky is purple because that’s what they want it to be.

That’s one thing I think about is that you get these feminists crowing about a “male loneliness epidemic “, but never notice that men are not showing up at these meets and greets.

Pretty much all the Guardian, Huffington Post, the Atlantic, etc. puts out. Stretching everything they can to be men’s fault or putting them down.

I try not to engage much online with them. Stuff like “It’s all men until it’s no men”. Then you point out the rising numbers of female educators who are committing sexual crimes against minors and suddenly it’s “It’s such a minuscule number of women doing this.” They literally want to be victimized and no amount of proof will sway their thinking. Still though, sometimes it is kind of fun.

I have the same issue. I used to engage many of these idiots, but especially on the recent “62 million “ subject. After showing one lady who kept asking for evidence, the evidence of how this number was incorrect and what really was up, she still chose to be a victim and fuss about it even being one man. She couldn’t admit that she had rushed to judgment or that she was mistaken, she still had to be a victim. I just finally realized that these folks don’t want to utilize critical thinking, they …

You are sure right about that. I made the mistake of wasting my time debating a feminist on facebook about the accuracy of the 62 million claim and after I provided proof that it was not, in fact, 62 million, she just started fussing about men in general. Wasn’t interested in if it were accurate or not, just wanted to be a victim.

Just women wanting to complain about something related to men.

I just get so tired of hearing about the constant victim hood of being a woman, I just basically turn a deaf ear. There’s no way I could bring myself to play that game.

Because the media and feminist society has been able to attack men with no consequences.

It’s funny, in my personal Facebook feed, that Abby Eckel chick comes up on my feed and, obviously, is always coming up with ways how men oppress or take advantage of all women. When someone comes up with a legitimate counterpoint or correction, you should see how those subscriber women go on the attack. Even if it’s another woman coming up with the counterpoint. And almost all the time, their responses are nothing more than personal attacks or “if you don’t agree then why are you here?”

The way it gets repeated so often, I can see this.

The first time, yeah things happen,it’s ok. The second time is …ok, this is suspect and I will likely not take part. Now, it just seems like you’re definitely being used for a free favor. I wouldn’t do it.

My wife was a single mother. After being married for 30 years and I love my stepson, we went through some really rough times. We are in a great place, but the journey was tough and we went through some bad, bad times. For me, it was worth it because my stepson has ended up being a great man and my wife of 30 years has been a warrior and my rock. It is possible, but I only had to deal with one kid, and the more you have makes it a little more difficult to find someone. Ask yourself if you would a…
