"Out of curiosity, officer, if this happened to a guy, would it be sexual assault?" Even women don't get taken seriously in sexual assault cases (seriously, some of the shit I've had to listen to), so to avoid hearing stupid shit from the cops, you or your friend could go in and ask about a hypothetical case.
