This is true in a sense. I don't like that term because it doesn't distinguish between stories that are fake, biased, or irrelevant, and because of its use from the beginning as a political weapon. The irony of the fact that BuzzFeed published an analysis of fake news is telling of the fuckery going on. (I assume it was a sarcastic comment, but I wanted to get that thought out.)

Yeah. It's fucked up that she got him kicked out, and she is a known man-hater, but I'd rather not have us involved in this. As a side-note though: a Nazi is a pretty specific thing, and he claims not to be one. Why not take his word for it? Is there evidence that he's aligned with the Nazi platform? It varies by time. The anecdotal antifeminism stuff gets to the top more when there's a lack of more interesting and important material. It's really hard to tell if they actually believe it, or if they know they're being dishonest. I feel like I can't enjoy a movie without finding out that one of the principal contributors said something heinous. I just watched Take Shelter and within a couple days, without searching for it, I find out that Michael Shannon said old Trump supporters should die and they're families should disown them, and Jessica Chastain is making a blatantly false rape accusation.

I agree with you there. An easy response to that specific claim though, is that the proportion of male rape that goes unreported dwarfs the proportion of female rapes that goes unreported. All fair points. I think my words regarding Milo were too strong, but I still think he's a poor spokesman and would like to see less of him in this sphere. She may be talented. I would have no idea.
