I'm not saying to forget men forever. I'm saying that until she loves and values herself she's not going to find good man that is interested in her. -- So, for now the thing to do is not focus on the man. Forget about men for now. Figure out herself first. Hell, she doesn't even know her own motivation for one of the most central things in her life an is turning to strangers on the internet regarding it. If she doesn't value or even know herself, how is she ever going to attract a man that she w…

Why? Because you don't love yourself. Until you value you, you will look for your value from other people. And anyone with any value themselves will likely not be interested because people who value themselves want people who value themselves. Forget men. You're awesome. Find out how how to make you value you. The rest will follow.

Rule 17 is crap. Life may seem contrary to entropy but remember the universe created life; the universe is life. The universe is not, at it's core, hostile to life. Rule 37 is also crap. Business is okay. It can be grand, honorable, and noble. But it is not " the highest evolution of consciousness and morality." And it certainly isn't the only path to highest consciousness and morality. PS: Lots of good "rules" in there too. I'm pointing out the one's I disagree with as it's more important to ge…

PS: Rule #30 is crap. Taking full control of yourself is good. Not being willing to help others is crap.

What do you think #84 Nobody gets old by surprise means? Seems to me many people experience that they seem to blink and suddenly they are older than they realized. But besides that, what is this rule trying to convey?

Some good stuff in there. Most important rule on the list: 7. You're successful when you like who and what you are. Many successful people, both financially and in terms of happiness and positive impact on others, follow a path antithetical to some of these rules. The people most creative in the arts and even business often follow a path quite different from this. Take what works for you and remember: if you like who and what you are, you are successful.

LIfe isn't like a vending machine where you put in X and get out Y. Enjoy the journey. If you like to exercise, exercise. If you like that man, say something to him. It might work out or you might fall and break your ankle and have a setback because you can't run your miles for a while. You're awesome whether you run or not and you're awesome whether you have a man in your life or not; so for the love of god start acting like it. Or not. What the hell do I know?

"Taking molly might be cool, I guess. But saying you are cool is soooo not cool." He might get mad or whatever at you. But more likely he'd realize that didn't work and just STFU.

Don't talk too much about yourself. For some of us (like me) that's easy, I'm not a talker. But for some people talking a lot is their norm and even more when they are nervous. Nothing wrong with being open and sharing your story, but ask and listen to their interests at least more then half the time. Another general tip: While it's good to offer to help and to do things for others, people also become attached to you when you politely accept or ask for their help. Need help getting some bags out…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
