You’re bringing language roots to a discussion about ethnicity, but ok; Brazilians aren’t ethnically Latinos. And we share culture a lot? Really? Are you Brazilian or Latin American? I’ve lived most of my life in Brazil, surrounded by Latin countries and working in media. There’s almost no cultural overlap (language, music, food, folklore, holidays, not even religion anymore).
