I would tell the oldest that he is mine irrespective of the DNA test. That said, I would tell him the truth at the earliest opportunity. Then I would help him find his biological family if he had an interest. To hell with the ex. Love the kid unconditionally.

Belgium is a dying culture. No wonder the Flemish want to split from the French-speaking population. The frenchies are self-loathing Europeans committed to their own demise. Hopefully the Flemish find a way to split off and form their own country. It is the nicest part of the country anyway.

Another dying European culture sentencing itself to a slow, miserable demise. Self-loathing Europeans will throw themselves onto the rubbish pile of history.

Take what you are owed. Simple as that. The second she asked for a divorce, she is the opposition. What is best for her is not relevant. Look out for your own interests. Hers are not a concern once the divorce proceeding begin.

Sorry to hear about your situation. In my opinion, marriage is for children. If you want them, get married again. Otherwise, skip it. Children do much better in a home with married parents on average. The data are clear. If you remarry, only consider it with a woman who needs you. Women have no tolerance for men they perceive as worthless. Find a woman who needs you, and then treat her like the most important person in your life. Love and respect her. Women who marry men they don’t need leave mo…

So well stated. The end pulls everyone’s true self out. If she was shitty at the end, she is a shitty person. To hell with her. Move on and have absolutely the most minimal amount of contact that is necessary and no more. Move on and forget her as much as possible.

Under no circumstances should a recently divorced man consider dating. And, he should never get remarried. All that to say, he should go have his fun. Go travel. Reconnect with your friends. Casual sex is fine, if not preferred. Just do not get serious with anyone. After five to ten years of clearing the cobwebs, then maybe consider a relationship. Just do not get married again. My buddy got divorced and went to work in Mexico City. He could not be happier. He makes great money, has a great soci…

Do not get married again! You are welcome. Marriage is a fucking scam.

Until family law is amended to be equal in all states, just don’t get married. Stupidest decision imageable. There is no faster way to destroy your life. Do not get married!

You nailed it. The takeaway for young men is do not get married! It is a scam. Marriage is for children and children alone. If you endeavor to be a father, consider marriage. Otherwise, have a good friend slap you upside the head if you even consider it. Fastest way to bankrupt yourself and wreck your life. Marriage is for suckers.

Petition for divorce at the earliest opportunity. Get out ahead of it. And yes, fuck her. Well said. Best of luck.

Don’t be a chauvinist if you get divorced. Just treat the women you date exactly how the treat you. If all you are is an ATM to the women you date, treat them like weekend fun. When something more interesting or fun comes along, move to the next shiny object. If you meet someone actually interested in something meaningful, and she respects you, be a gentleman and a good companion. Otherwise, just extend them the same level of respect, or disrespect, that they extend you. As Chris Rock said, chiv…

Wise words! Marriage is a scam. Unless you want children, never get married. The data are clear that marriage benefits children. The why and how are beyond my comprehension, but the data indicate that marriage benefits children. If you don’t have children or don’t want them, never get married. Dumbest decision imaginable.

The truth is the answer. Tell people who ask that she cheated. No need to shoulder the blame yourself. It is totally and completely her fault. Just tell the truth.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
