Ah, yes. My bad. I mixed those up. But age of majority doesn't have anything to do with sex or a relationship, age of consent does.

Um. No. I'm in the US and age of consent is 16, here.

Why 18? Seems pretty arbitrary to me.

Eye-for-an-eye justice is a little extreme for me, too, but these people have a point, at least. Same reason people wish murders are killed.

If that's what you meant by "special," then yeah, your first time doing anything is special. But it's only some epic milestone if you delude yourself into believing it is.

If you're going to survive in a LTR, you need to learn to let go of that pride, every now-and-then.

Look at it this way: I like icecream. I like looking at it, smelling it, thinking about it, even just knowing that I have some in my freezer makes me happy, but none of that matters if I don't get to actually eat it.

too young to consent A 12 year old can't consent. They don't know what they're doing. Are you implying that younger people are too stupid to understand what sex is?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/16 02:41 PM

Age is irrelevant. "Statutory rape" is a separate issue from rape. Rape is sex without consent. "Statutory rape" is sex that involves someone that the government says is too young to have sex, regardless of consent.

people view women with such less value Only when they are actually worth less. Which is often. Women have a tendency to not have as much ambition. Women get more degrees in social fields and take jobs as assistants and secretaries. Women aren't expected to put effort into anything serious. We treat women the way they set themselves up to be treated; as lesser beings. They want to be pets. They want to be paid for, and pampered, and admired, all while taking the passive role. Which leaves us to t…

If someone has told you they are okay with being kissed while asleep and then you kiss them when they are asleep, no one is going to pop up and arrest you. Following affirmative consent, you need constant, enthusiastic consent. You can't get that when someone is unconscious. Even if they agreed, signed papers, or whatever, yes means yes laws have made this situation completely illegal.

Girls who grow up in this kind of relationship may never know who they might have been had they been left alone, or with a peer. And girls who grow up with a similarly-aged partner may never know who they might have been had they dated older people. Big whoop.

They say So? Some people lie. Some people are misled by their own emotions. I'm depressed. I don't have a single happy memory. I know I've had happy times in the past, but my brain cannot recall what happiness is when I'm un-medicated. If you ask me "have you always been depressed," I could honestly answer yes, even though I know my depression only started around age 16.

Minor risk. Herpes is incurable but negligible. Most people don't even experience a breakout, and when they do, it's a minor itching, which is easily treated by medication. Almost everything else is curable with antibiotics. Seriously, people act like it's the end of their social life when they catch VD. I assure you; it's not.

What led up to the kiss? Did you just randomly kiss him? Because it sounds like there was some communication, beforehand.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/16 04:34 AM

Okay. Were you drunk? Did you already know that he would be willing? Was there a conversation beforehand? Only once has a woman gone for a kiss with no initiation from me, and it was entirely unwanted.

I'm curious. How have you initiated?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/16 08:40 PM

No. It should not be the responsibility of men to both observe the social climate for minutia, AND take the initiative and approach. Women have taken an entirely passive role, and have no responsibility. They just sit back and wait for men to come to them. I'm not going to spend effort on observing how every woman around me acts, to try and notice the minute details of her actions to determine if she likes me. I am just going to approach women I am interested in, and if she isn't interested in m…

Women will sometimes try to make it really obvious that they're interested The number of women that have made it obvious enough for me to pick up can be counted on one hand. Only two of those were interesting to me, at all. Been there, done that. Women will sometimes try to make it really obvious that they're interested, but they will never outright say anything; they will always (except in the extremely rare case) wait for the male to initiate.

Supply and demand. If more people want to use the neutral restroom, then large waiting periods will happen, and people will start demanding larger or more numerous facilities. Inevitably, everyone caves and we get full restrooms exactly like the other two, but with a neutral sign on the door. Then, a few years later, some other gender identity group throws a bitch-fit over not having a designated restroom for them, too. So much simpler to just have a single, larger restroom. Less construction an…

TRP's hateful rhetoric You keep calling it hateful. I don't hate women; it's only ever been clinical, for me. Like a nature documentary, we research and reveal the psychology that cause people to act in the typical fashion. If you're offended by our observations that "most women do _____," then you're offended by how women act, not our attitude. The only way this parallel would make sense is if there was some way (at least according to TRP) that a woman could be more. But there isn't. For men, t…

Just because a trait isn't sexy doesn't mean we avoid it. It just doesn't affect their attractiveness. In the same way that me saying "I don't find brown hair sexually attractive" doesn't mean I am attracted to exclusively non-brunettes, it just means that the hair color itself has no effect on what I think of them sexually.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/16 12:02 AM

That's not what I was implying. You said that all you'll see on TRP is bad things about women and good things about men. I sarcastically pointed out that we also mock weak men (betas).

Sex no better than masturbation? That has to be a joke. There are things I cannot do to myself. I can't fuck my own pussy, for instance. Sex no better than with a hooker? Actually, that one's correct. Most women act like that, though. A woman who has a passive sexual presence and doesn't try to please me does not get another date, and thus no more of my time and money. A hooker that fails to please me will not get me as a return customer. (in theory, I haven't ever used prostitution services)

Nice guy, like the one who never initiates anything romantic, but expects people to want to suck his dick for just being nice? Almost every woman I encounter acts like that. They act nice and maybe "drop hints," but it's extremely rare when a woman will actually ask you out. If you refuse her, it utterly destroys her inside, and she will often vent at you for it. You added "willingly." That was not present in the OP.

I think a good number of TRPers do think that men are more moral than women, only because they have more experience with immoral women than men. Just as many women claim that men are less moral than women, as they are only exposed to the nastiness of men in relationships. It's simple bias from personal experience, and that data is to be expected. However, I do not believe that any sex or gender is innately more or less ethical than the other. I have met dirtbag cheaters, both men and women, but,…

I love how feminism is filled with proclamations of equality, followed by chants of "kill all men." See what I did, there? Different people within a group. Learn to differentiate.

You proved my point. I was taking about people in primitive societies.

Are you a part of a tribal society in The Kalahari or Brazilian jungle?

And very few of them are what I would consider thin or athletic, which is the body type that one would have in an athletic lifestyle. Those are modern women, who no doubt spend a lot of time sitting around, surrounded by a food surplus, as opposed to running and hunting and the food scarcity of living in the wilderness.

Large breasts are a recent evolution. They're mostly fatty tissue, which is a part of a lax lifestyle. I always point to tribal societies in the Kalahari or Brazilian jungle. The only large breasts are with women who are actively breastfeeding or pregnant, and sit around with kids all day.

A guy and a girl paying for themselves only really works out if the interest level is close to the same That's true, but why would anyone want to date someone who's not interested?

I was popular in high school, and I cringe at how important I thought it was, too. It wasn't.

I haven't had a romantic partner that wasn't manipulative. It's really quite annoying to someone trying to build a relationship based on trust and communication, so now I have a reputation for being picky with women. Manipulation is not limited to just women, though, and typically, men and women do it in different ways. I haven't experienced much of the manipulation from men, but women are pretty well known to cry to trigger an empathetic response, sometimes to deepen an urge to protect them, so…

That's the idea. The parents aren't too enthusiastic about it, though. My sister isn't having kids, either. Ha!

And it will always be that way. People will treat others differently. No law can change that.

Just because I view them as bad people does not make their label an insult. It depends entirely on how it's used. If I'm saying it with the purpose of offending someone, then yes, it's an insult, but I use it as a label for a group of people with a specific political lean. In this case, social Marxism.

I disagree. I think the names fits the definition. Libtard and Pinko are just plain insults. Social Marxist is one who applied Marxist theories to social issues, which is exactly what the social justice movement does.

Dunno. I've seen women in their thirties act almost exactly as you told in that story. I think there's more to it than inexperience.
