I wasn’t lying, I still stand by my advice. I just refuse to talk to someone who’s so deep into a conspiracy theory they use the word “feminazi” seriously. Get fucking better

It's probably because there's solid sociological and historical data that show a patriarchal system is in place. Like, even taking a very shallow approach - what's your last name? Is it your mother's name? The patriarchal system existing does not mean: That it is inherently bad That it shields men from every and all issues I feel like this kind of denialist argument is really detrimental to the MRM. It makes you look like absolute tin foil hat wearing loons. My honest tip to you all? Stop with t…

There’s a lot of diversity of discourse among feminists. Some actually are very much against the idea of all men being the enemy. Liberal feminists, Marxist Feminists and Anarchist Feminists have different understandings of how gender opression happens, what the patriarchy is and if it’s even a valid concept. I don’t vote “Democrat”. You know there’s other countries in the world that are not the USA, right? Where people have more than two parties to vote. And I think I would actually abstain fro…

You honestly think feminists don’t genuinely advocate for legal abortion? Because I can guarantee they do. Men don’t even cross their minds. You could argue they ignore your needs, any honest person would agree with that, but not that they don’t genuinely advocate for legal abortions for legitimate reasons, like body autonomy and public health. Your argument is disonest and out of touch, to say the least.

The whole point of men’s rights activism is to reproduce the same toxic behavior as the group they criticize? I’m sorry, I guess I never got the memo. I honestly thought it was about fighting for men’s rights.

Some people in this sub are absolutely insane. They honestly think “feminists” have institutional power to make that kind of decision. It’s almost funny, if it wasn’t for the fact that they’re talking about serious issues with real life implications. They’re as counter productive in their narrative as feminists.

It’s a shit phrase to be used towards anyone. I just think we have to be honest with our arguments. And yes, people do use the phrase against women. Like, society shaming women for being sexual is pretty common where I’m from and in many other third world countries. That doesn’t take legitimacy away from men’s rights movements. Some people here are just like the “feminazis” they’re criticizing all the time, blind to the realities of people outside their bubble. Really annoying and counter produc…

If the State can violate ANY person’s body autonomy, that poses a threat to everyone else’s. Yes, the impact might not be the same, but if the State can allow parents to chop their son’s penis, there’s precedent to allow female circumcision. If the State can prohibit abortions, what’s to say they won’t start sterilizing men against their will? Nothing. They could. So both matters should be taken seriously.

Hey, I think you’re honestly missing the point. Both issues are actually about the same exact thing, which is body autonomy. Circumcising baby boys without their consent is just as wrong as not allowing women to have abortions. You talk about the parents having a choice, but the parents should NOT have the choice to mutilate their child or not. That’s the whole point, circumsicion often times violates the child’s consent. Trying to undermine this problem, when it’s exactly the same issue, removi…

The “proper” definition of panssexual according to the MOGAI wiki is: “Pansexuality is the sexual, romantic or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity.”

Did you even read my other comment? lol. I agree with you. However, the word still exists and has a correct meaning that does not include bestiality, and missrepresenting it does no good for our argument.

True, but pansexuality does NOT include non-human attraction. It just means you can feel attraction to any gender expression.

(Edit for some grammar errors) One interesting fact about “pansexuality” vs. “bissexuality”. As a bissexual myself, but that would theoretically fit into the “omnysexual” (lol) category, I recently found out that those refer to different systems of classification. So, LGBT+ is a more rooted classification, based in material evidence of disadvantage (or oppression if you will). For exemple, same-sex marriage not being legal in many places. That’s institutional discrimination. The legal and govern…

Well… isn’t that pretty obvious? If masculinity and femininity are concepts created to keep men and women “in check”, walking in the right lane, to keep up gender roles and statuses, it’s only natural that both of these concepts can become toxic. I think we have evolved enough to surpass those values that chain us to the past. Women and men have found ways to exploit their gender roles to take advantage of people. So, in my opinion, the only way to get away from this is to break the “men have to…

I have met two men who had to have circumcision done when they were kids because of phimosis, and it seems like it was a really traumatic experience for both of them. They were toddlers when they had their foreskin removed. Seems to me that, rarily, there is medical reason to go through with circumcision, but doctors don’t seek less invasive alternatives that would be just as effective for most people. I’m not knowledgeable in this topic, I must say. But I do agree that if religion is not a legi…

First of all, I think I should disclose I’m a woman. I come from a country and social circle where it’s not the norm for the guy to pay. I have always split the bill, and I always expect to do so. Well, the first time someone paid for my bill I was in the US. I met with the sweetest guy for a date, and when we were paying he asked for my tab to the bartender and payed for it. English is not my first language, so I was kind of confused by the exchange and after I even felt kind of scared? I felt …
