I ran into other women IRL with the same issue. I find it mind-boggling.

He’s blaming you for his porn-fueled impotence. That’s what they do. So much easier blaming you, than looking at themselves. So many guys do that.

He didn’t have time for me. He was unemployed. Sweet mother of everything, was I stupid.

I never wanted kids to begin with. Later I realized that is mostly because I never saw a good example of a happy family while growing up, so what’s the appeal anyway? At the age of 30 or so I sat myself down to really think about it, so I could definitely be sure about not wanting them, not just going through the motions of life and finding out too late I’ve missed out on having a family. I decided then that besides still not wanting them, having them would be a bad decision anyway as I don’t se…

I never figured this could even be a thing until some years ago, especially when you have never met before and have no idea about each other schedules yet. But once a dude proposed going out on a Thursday and I said “Love to! Can’t make it this Thursday though, would a Saturday be good for you?” And he started yelling at me, going on about my fragile ego linked to the fact that I liked to occasionally change my profile picture. Uhm, dude... I basically said I would love to go out with you, dafuq…

It can also go the other way round though. I dated a guy for over two years and in the beginning his friends where all enthusiastic as I TOTALLY fit his dream of the red haired(was a redhead those days) pierced alternative goth vixen. He had a mold I happened to fit in. I immediately asked him if that was all he liked about me. He lied and said no, but yes, that wás all. The fact that I had a personality ánd accompanying wants, desires, talents and thoughts ne-ver even occurred to him. He wanted…

The only thing I can think of is some kind of leverage to make him remove that picture. But then you stoop to a new low because of him and he will be happy with any attention he gets from you, even if it’s negative. You can always think about the great ways you have rebuilt yourself, while he is still clinging onto the past that wasn’t even so great to begin with. Feel really happy about that and yourself. 😃

Yes, smart not to do that, as that way he gets exactly what he wants, communication with you. But I totally understand that you want him to stop using your pictures as well.

You catch him in a lie twice a month, but those are just the ones you catch, increase that number by at least a 100.

Back when we were still involved my now-ex said to me he couldn’t spend more time with me. He was unemployed, didn’t do shit with his life otherwise and I had to beg him to see me for even just one day a week and he resented me for that 1 day too(but still wanted to be my boyfriend), as it was taking away from his time making and posting anime memes on Reddit. I SO should’ve had this one ready for him. 😂 I’m going to save it and maybe even print it out and put on my refrigerator door to remind m…

Popular interests can be OK, if that’s the kind of person you are, no sense in pretending. But for fs sake specify! So many many times I’ve read “I like music. films, food and doing fun things.” Yes, but what KIND? It’s like saying “I like breathing.”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
