Men should come forward. And I don’t think it’s possible to prosecute a crime without a victim. I could roll up to a police station and say I murdered someone. But if there’s no victim, what do they do? And to be clear, Cardi B deserves the full weight of our legal system if what she said she did is true. She’s trash. End of story. Not sure that actually plays out in reality though. I know the death penalty has no deterrent effect whatsoever, in fact states with the death penalty tend to have higher rates of “capital crimes.”

prison has initiatives to educate and train prisoners so they can be released with the knowledge and skills to make it back in soceity. You ever been inside a prison? Programs like these haven’t been funded for a long time now, when they’re even offered. He was still sentence to 25 to life for stealing a slice of pizza. That’s a sentence that doesn’t make any sense at all. Surely you must agree. None of the crimes he committed prior ride to the level of “must be sequestered from society for the safety of everyone involved.” He wasn’t a serial rapist, didn’t try to kill anyone, they weren’t violent felonies.

But then there’s the guy who was sentenced to 25 years to life after he stole a piece kf pizza as his third strike. One of the main problems with 3 strikes laws, and mandatory minimum sentencing in general, is that it doesnt allow for the law to be flexible to adapat to ever-changing circunstances and scenarios.

That's definitely not child abuse. To say it is insults people who have suffered actual child abuse. But what it certainly is is disparate treatment by a teacher, and just plain old bad teaching period. If there is a resource available to students in a classroom, it should be made available to all students.
