Do you have anything to add?Let me give a slightly opposing viewpoint. I don't mind these "diversity" programs that much. In many cases, having people of different genders, different races, or from different countries can add value to an organization because of their unique experiences and perspectives. But one thing I noticed is that this only seems to work one way. | 3 | For years my wife has been on me to share housework equally and we agreed to do so. She was stunned and enraged when I asked her to pump gas, shovel snow, carry boxes, take car to shop, etc. and refused saying its unfair. I told her she is not a feminist and she agreed. She is happier now. The end.I've always thought pumping gas was more "manly" because women don't want to get dirty as much. At many pumps I've been to a little gas will spill (regardless of how careful I am), and I may end up smelling like gasoline for the next few hours. The dirty-effect is even more pronounced with jobs like lawn-mowing and cooking in fast food restaurants. Almost every day there are new stories about how men are treated unfairly and malevolently. And these are only the ones that make the news or people are willing to share on the internet.
