Well, i'm pretty new here but i would say you don't need to be open about it but don't lie about it ; if you start with, i'm non exclusive and i'm down to have sex with you if you want to is a lost cause. Act like you don't give a fuck or make yourself at the same time open but unreacheable. You are not willing to have sex with them but you are still a bit flirting, send mixed signals and create the need for them to hook up with you, making them want it.
