I’m a woman and I like gaming. Scrolling social media is not a hobby. The key is, having more than one hobby (3-4 might be a good number). If I want to spend time with someone, it is not always sitting and watching the tv or playing video games. Sometimes I want to go for a hike, check out a new bar/place, go to a museum, etc. If your only hobby is video games, it will take up all of your time and women (at least myself) aren’t trying to compete with that. Reminding someone to shower comes to mind… Having to remind to do self care tasks, chores, appointments, etc. And picking up after someone else is not a basic household chore. If I didn’t make the mess/miss the hamper/leave something out, why would I be expected to put it back or fix it?
