I was totally unaware of this, but I'll take you at your word. That's unfortunate. I'm not against sex, but I do believe in some segregation of sex lives and the rest of life. Life is about balance. The modern trend towards the sexualization of nearly everything is making life seem a little flatter to me. If that makes any sense.

Twitch is one competitor with a PR campaign that fearmongers parents about exposure to sexual content away from being an adult-only streaming site. If I was Microsoft, I would be spinning Mixer back up right now and preparing to launch a full-fledged PR campaign against Twitch.

Exactly, their platform circumvents legal and common social controls that limit the exposure of minors to adult content. Arguing that they can watch it elsewhere anyways is NOT an excuse. That argument is like saying, we can't stop all of them so we shouldn't try to stop any of them. Because Twitch is ostensibly about streaming games and under that premise has had their service baked into a lot of platforms that have particular appeal to kids (gaming consoles). This would be like if YouTube started allowing porn. It's highly inappropriate. Either they are an adult site and should be treated as such or they need to remove adult-only content.
