This thread is a disgrace to mens rights. How on EARTH is this sexist? It's a joke in poor taste! Every day we bitch about how women get offended over nothing. What do you think this is?! While that may be true, it has little relevance. It all comes back to the point of having medical advantages. If you disagree with the alleged advantages, then everything I say will seem hollow. If you agree, then I'll sound like a champion. I suppose I'm just tired. Sorry for venting at you guys. You were good sports.

That's a total strawman argument. There is not a single medical reason to do that, and there is an established pool of medical professionals who agree that circumcision has health benefits. Not everyone might agree with them, but they're the ones being published in peer reviewed journals, not some psycho chopping off finger tips. Also, I hate it when people compare clitoral removal to circumcision. The equivalent to circumcision for females would be a shortening of the clitoral hood, not a remov…

The thing I don't get is why people have such a problem with their parents or guardians making a decision that the believe will benefit their lives. Some say it's not worth it, some say it is. That aside, isn't it the parent's choice to do what they (and the majority of the health world) believe is best for their child?
