I'm quite interested in going there at some point. How easy is it to get by with the language barrier?

There's a really interesting/disturbing video about this as well. Check out http://www.vice.com/en_uk/the-vice-guide-to-travel/the-japanese-love-industry

Only about confidence? I'm willing to bet that the fact he IS actually good looking has a reasonable contribution. Yeah, the confidence does help, but saying it's the only aspect of the interaction is ridiculous. We're also not seeing the countless times I bet he got rejected. Regardless, it does show that opening everyone is how you get opportunity for things like this. The video definitely doesn't help anyone get over their fear of rejection - including the rejections would have made it a lot …

True, and I agree. Seddit isn't about sharing each others' moral viewpoints though - it is about sharing the knowledge and skill for self improvement, regardless of intent.

I can't even watch this video without cringing, this guy has some serious rocks.

If you want to fact check the things people throw at you on here, most of the time you need to delve into Google Scholar at least.

If someone runs completely out of decent conversation then it's clear they aren't comfortable. Sure, some silence and heavy eye contact can easily be sexual tension, but the way this sounds is that he would spend the next hour of dinner just staring. You do need to be able to continue conversation if you aren't comfortable, otherwise he's just gonna be that creep who spent all dinner staring awkwardly at her.

Conversation threading. It has been brought up countless times, and is infinitely useful if you just want to keep talking comfortably. Search it.

This is one of those FRs that has a mountain of valuable advice. Thanks! In my opinion seeing all this advice put into context helps hugely

But this... this actually works! What the fuck Seddit, since when did you start posting inner game shit that is legit?

Search them on youtube, some guy called Rythm&Tango (or something similar) has posted the full set.

I really don't like this kind of game. It's a very hit and miss situation, and you're better off building up a rapport with someone normally with humour and emotion. I agree with a previous person in that NLPers commonly come off as creepy, it's definitely overhyped.

Clear, concise and with a valuable lesson. I love some of the stuff you said as well. "You're a hard one to pin down HB7" is just the right amount of playful without losing the message. Great Fr!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
