I never took statistics like this seriously, don't be like me. They are accurate predictors of future violent behavior. And if you have a therapist who warns you to leave or talks about increasing amounts of violence from your partner, you need to listen to them. Stay safe, ladies.

If you suspect they watch porn you can ask what kind of porn they watch and the porn sick ones will be more than happy to tell you about their kinks. But I think there are other tells like how they treat women who are strangers.

This is giving me flashbacks to my pickme days where I mostly dated average and below average men... I remember some creepy scrote congratulating my NVX for getting a girl as young and hot as me. 🤢 I would always say how looks didn't matter and their personality was sooo important 🤡And honestly they were all terrible. None of them were good at sex and none of them even treated me well. Some were downright abusive NVM while others were just LV. I even had a fling with an objectively very attracti…

I think it's one of those split King/double twin beds. But you know the only reason he posted this was for pity and to have a bunch of Internet strangers insult his wife. Because he knows how little he was contributing to their relationship so he needs some feel good internet points.

Woah, did we date the same guy lol?! When I told my friends they all said he must be gay for not sleeping with me. But I initially thought drug addiction and chronic pain played a big part. I never even saw withholding sex as a manipulation tactic. But it makes so much sense. He also guilted me over my sex drive and acted like I was going to cheat on him while he was the one emotionally cheating (projecting much?). He manipulated me into becoming his hot, young sugar mommy/maid. Never dating a g…

I love what you wrote! Here is an excerpt from Our Blood by Andrea Dworkin she was discussing how r-pe was seen as a crime against your patriarch or monarch/ruler. "Early English law on r-pe was a testament to the English class system. A woman who was not married belonged legally to the king. Her r-pist had to pay the king fifty shillings as a fine, but if she was a “grinding slave, ” then the fine was reduced to twenty-five shillings. The r-pe of a nobleman’s serving maid cost twelve shillings.…

I've been trying to implement this for years, but I've had the most success during the pandemic. Wearing a mask helps because I smile very easily and still struggle to stop that conditioned behavior. I'd feel threatened or uncomfortable and still smile and laugh at them (always a male). It's incredible how I haven't been harassed nearly as much in post-pandemic 2020 and 2021 compared to pre-pandemic 2020. Not sure if it's the combination of a mask and my eyes never even looking at men, but none …

I got and planned on reading Why Does He Do that soon, but I haven't heard of the Gift of Fear! Thank you for the recommendations.

I read 20-30 comments and ??? Wtf. They seemed to just completely miss the point that the post was trying to make. They all just scream oppression at the first hint of someone asking them to take accountability for their actions.

I still believe the majority of SWs are not doing it voluntarily. The ones who are vocal about it are probably some of the most successful and are the ones doing it voluntarily. Doesn't really seem like women and girls who were forced into SW would have ample time to spend on Twitter. I think the least our government could do is raise the age from 18 to 21. No more teen p*rn and no more girls excited to turn 18 just to make an OF page. There should be more scrutiny in the industry and more prote…

I really like your take on this. I guess I've known what I need to do, but it seems somewhat difficult (emotionally and mentally taxing). I mentioned in another comment that I'll discuss my options with a lawyer. Thank you!

Safety and him retaliating was part of my concern. I moved across the country and he showed up at my parents house looking for me. I will discuss this with a lawyer to see how to best proceed and if they think there is a case/enough evidence. Edit: for clarification

I've been torn on whether I should take action to let my NVX "fail." The area I lived in has no statute of limitations for some crimes and a few years for others. I've been wondering if I should press charges, but have held back because I don't want to ruin his life. It's not even about getting revenge, I'm just scared he'll do the same to another young woman. Idk if I should eventually create an AskFDS post, but I figured it might be worth commenting here and see what you ladies think.

I started out below average in an FPS game (comms were SO toxic) and climbed to the top 5-10% of players at my peak. And honestly? The toxicity surprisingly got better. But I tried for so long to find other women and girls to play with but most of them are like me and don't use their mics either! I wish FPS games weren't such toxic cesspools full of LVM. I would advertise a girls only group and scrotes would join and pretend to be girls 🤢

I did my NVX's taxes for him, I got him health and dental insurance, I found our apartment and paid all of the deposits, I had all of the bills under my name, and called to set up appointments for him too. He was ten years older than me 🤢🤡

This!! They're always so insecure and out to demolish your self esteem so that they can keep you and feel better about themselves.

The realization that just about every male "friend" I have had were probably hoping to get me in bed really ruined those friendships for me. I love this post because it highlights the difference between men and women's struggles. Males are upset women won't give them "something" (aka sex) and women are being lied to and led on in in a friendship that's a facade. One is significantly worse than the other. No one is owed sex just because they pretend to be your friend 🤢

Honestly, publicly shaming men has been the most effective way for me to get them to leave me alone. I was in highschool and being followed around a grocery store by a man in his 30s or 40s and I loudly told him I was 16 (!!!) and he slinked away like the sleazeball he was. Shame men more. "Teach" them how to behave appropriately. But in reality we aren't teaching them, just raining the judgment of people they don't view as objects down on them.

Like others have pointed out this is a blessing in disguise. They're showing their true colors and making it that much easier to weed them out. If they're so desperate for a response, have no patience, and have so little self-esteem that they begin tearing your character down when you don't respond for a day then you need to just block and delete. A guy should contribute positively to your life, not make you forced to change your healthy habits in order to accommodate his feelings. Don't apologi…

I can't speak for either FDS or TRP. So these are all my takes. FDS primes women to be happy alone regardless of whether or not they end up with someone. So them being a "nightmare partner" is irrelevant altogether. If you spent some actual time on the subreddit you'd know that. 1. The term alpha and beta aren't even used on the subreddit. 2. Individual preference exists in men and women alike. 3. Lots of money? More like displaying financial responsibility (like an actively-dating adult should)…

If it's breaking you, then it sounds like a deal breaker. I've heard the saying that if you have to ask then the answer is probably yes. You're exhausted from work and then come home and try to teach your partner how to carry the weight in other ways (I assume through chores or cooking). If he benefits from living together, then you should too, but you can't make anyone else change (regardless of gender). Sometimes you have to do what is best for you.

I don't think appearance has as much to do with moral character as you think. Just because someone is attractive does not mean they possess a bad moral character. And the opposite is also true. I've met plenty of bad, unattractive guys and some good, attractive guys.

More like men get sex, domestic servitude, and child care for free in marriage. Not sure how receiving free labor is getting the short end of the stick.

If you can keep your finances and income separate or hidden then you need to do that. Skim some off the top and save money up so that you can leave. Talk to friends or even family about a place to stay if you can't afford your own place or to rent a room. Your mental health and relationship/love life are also important (if you reference Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs). I understand the situation isn't abusive in nature, but that feeling of dread is your mind telling you to leave. I believe in you<3…

I can attest to this with first hand experience. i've been playing a semi-popular FPS game for a few years and when I was ranked in the bottom 50% of players, I was constantly flamed for being a woman and for what character I chose to play. I stopped using my mic and stopped communicating because almost every game someone would say disgusting things to me. Several guys threatened to find me and r *pe me, they would make kitchen and sandwich making "jokes", speculation as to what I look like, etc…
