I’ve come a long way, but I still have a ways to go. I can talk to women and get phone numbers, but it all feels pointless when I’m consistently not getting what I want (getting laid). I’ve thought about paying for it and just bypassing this infernal process, but my pride will not allow it because it reeks of defeatism. I’m tall, muscular, have good verbal game, but never get anything because I simply do not know how to text. She could pose a simple question on the surface, and I could unravel i…

You sent a good morning text. Never send chicks good morning texts ever again man. That just screams “nice guy” and it gives them the ick.

Whether I get women or not is largely unimportant to me nowadays. So, the question becomes “Do I wish to be rich or poor?” and I would choose to be poor 100% of the time. While being rich has its obvious benefits, there would be very little room for struggle and personal growth. If I had every material possession that I could ever desire, then what would be the point in striving for anything? If death is the great equalizer, then why do material possessions even matter? Furthermore, without the …

Then give up then. The moment you stop caring about this endeavor, the sooner you’ll find peace. Are you prepared to live a life of detachment and solitude though? Your answer to this question will determine if stepping away from dating altogether is a good idea or not.

Same. I find it frustrating because I cannot and will not dilute my depth of thought to activate her dopamine receptors. I hate texting with a passion.

No! A magician never reveals his tricks to the masses. Let them wonder about you and remain the enigma.

That’s the nature of the game man. You’re gonna take more L’s than W’s with this method. Cold approach is undeniably the most inefficient way to start generating volume because the sheer amount of effort you must put into your conversations, only to receive several useless numbers, just isn’t worth the grind. Abysmal ROI. My advice would be to stop playing this game entirely and instead rely on social circles and dating apps.

If you have truly improved every aspect of your life that is within your power to change, and for some reason you are still viewed as below average by women, then there’s nothing you can really do at that point. The sad truth is that life isn’t fair, and the universe owes us nothing in the end. However, attraction is extremely subjective. There’s more to it than just your physical appearance. As men, we can improve a variety of things: how we style ourselves, how we move through life, our socioe…

I’m living proof of it. I’m not saying it’s easy, but it can definitely be done

I disagree. A rational man who is locked in can sacrifice short term gains for long term rewards. All you need is discipline, the will to power, and a vision of your life that you are relentlessly working towards. Anything aside from these things are merely distractions that ought to be avoided on the journey towards achieving self mastery. The incel shouldn’t elevate himself solely for women. He should elevate himself because it improves his overall quality of life. If the shallow baddie finds …

A man can achieve all of the benefits that you’ve listed (and in much greater volume) if he takes a tactical retreat from the dating market to improve his SMV. If he’s a 3/10, then he shouldn’t even be concerned about dating right now. Especially with how competitive things are in 2025 and beyond. There are so many things that demand his immediate attention, such as his physique, grooming, style, behavior, and mindset. A 3/10 needs to embrace the pain and suffering of being an incel. He needs to…

Exactly. It would already be obvious to others based on how he carries himself. He doesn’t prowl around beating his chest to establish social dominance. He’s already dominant and has nothing to prove to anyone.
/r/seduction26/02/25 12:13 AM

That’s a solid strategy, and I can see how that would elevate the incel’s perceived status amongst women. If he’s popular with people in general, then he would have an easier time pulling. He just has to have the discipline to not shoot his shot with all the women in the group as you’ve pointed out. He’d have even better results if the others view him as the leader of the group.

That approach only works if she’s already sexually attracted to you though. That may have been the implication, but you didn’t explicitly state this important caveat. We don’t want the incels to start thinking that they can friend zone women and expect to get sex from them by virtue of their “friendship”. Lmao

A real alpha male wouldn’t engage in this validation seeking behavior anyways.

You can be charming and sweet, but also be a confident man who displays high status behaviors. Redpilled men tell others to be assholes because being an asshole naturally displays emotional independence, assertiveness, and the type of energy that indicates to a woman that you want her but do not NEED her for anything. These powerful traits are naturally absent from nice guys, but embodied more frequently by the assholes. However, the implication is not that one must be an asshole to attract woma…

Just by making the approach consistently and getting rejected extremely often. It’s a numbers game, so approach without expectations

No. Tell the truth and sell them the dream that you’re here to make them feel young again. Why not just be honest with your intentions? Be upfront about wanting something casual from the start so you’re not leading these chicks on.

No it doesn’t. In fact, I found that it actually made me even more unhappy than I ever was before learning game. Before, it was the fear of missing out. Now, it’s the realization that whatever pleasure I experienced in the moment was fleeting and ultimately meaningless. It’s destroyed my ability to form genuine connections because now, I view dating and relationships as exercises in power dynamics and leverage as opposed to forming genuine connections and deriving meaning from the process, if th…

If I go out at all, then it’s for the sake of having fun. I would question what you mean by “genuine” connections though, because in my view there’s nothing genuine about hookup culture. It’s something we do to chase dopamine highs. The genuine connection you speak of is fleeting and illusory.

Why would you continue to invest in women who demonstrate a clear lack of interest? Disengage immediately when that happens. If she displays no curiosity about you and if there’s no back and forth dynamic, then why bother?
/r/seduction19/02/25 05:21 PM

Yeah, but your sample size is larger than it is for a majority of men. A lack of a response for you should be meaningless when you have literally hundreds of matches. You’re still playing the numbers game, but you save so much time and investment by going about it through the apps as opposed to cold approach.

Be the man who can have 10+ women anytime he wants. My advice: take a tactical retreat from the game and return when you actually have leverage.

Yes. Cultivating a healthy lifestyle solved that issue for me. Working out, eating clean, and not watching pornography naturally increased my testosterone levels. As a result, no anxiety and a chill stoic demeanor.

I just wanted to know if it was possible, but I agree with your statement. There’s an abundance of women out there, so it’s better to make a proper first impression and establish romantic intent from the start rather than waste time and energy on someone who doesn’t see you in that way.

Upon reaching the realization that attraction is generated through emotional contrast, can the former nice guy start implementing the correct strategies over time to successfully get out of the friendzone? Will a woman who previously viewed him as “just a friend” eventually view him as a romantic option if he makes the necessary behavioral changes? Basically, can attraction be generated from nothing?

I think you should focus on getting your life together bro. When you don’t have your shit together, dating can become a major distraction. Still, it’s reassuring to know that success in dating is not contingent on material success. After all, women make their own money. They don’t need us for provisioning. In spite of the fact, however, you should still have your life figured out because word on the street is that having your shit together = competence, maturity, and self sufficiency: qualities …

What if the man has an interesting life of his own, an incredible sense of self-esteem, is chasing his goals, but would rather not deal with multiple women? Such a man simply wouldn’t have the time or even desire to display the needy behavior you’ve described.

Because i believe that cold approach is the most inefficient way to meet women, and it truly feels like a Sisyphean task. It’s difficult to detach from the outcome when I don’t even enjoy the process. I would have to approach hundreds of women to potentially get something, and for me that is a horrible return on my investment.
/r/seduction16/01/25 04:13 AM

Believing that cold approach is an exercise in futility. It’s hard for me to let go of the desired outcome and just enjoy the act of approaching in itself. I understand it’s a numbers game, but after facing merely 10 rejections, I feel ready to give up. It’s making me believe that there might be something wrong with my physical presentation. Maybe if I looked like Zeus, things might go differently perhaps? I’m not even out of shape either. I diet and train regularly, so I have an athletic physiq…

25 here, and I’m still a virgin because I was extremely antisocial during most of my time in high school and college. I’ve been working on overcoming this over the past year, and I now feel comfortable having conversations with others. I’ve developed my personality, and I have confidence now. The next step for me is losing weight and building a physique so that I can start attracting the women I want.

Looksmaxxing will at least get your foot in the door: you will be presenting the best version of yourself to the world, and you’ll have confidence because you did everything you could to maximize your genetic potential when it comes down to your physical attributes. Of course you should fix the limiting beliefs that you have and work towards developing an achievable plan to get the results that you want out of dating, but I disagree with your dichotomy where one aspect of attraction is of greate…
