I've had a "not like other girls phase" due to bad experiences with other women. I never really had issues with men in real life, and I'm rather close to the men in my life. Then I've discovered the manosphere stuff during the pandemic, and I won't lie it definitely shattered my worldview at the time.

In this case, wouldn't men who fit that description be mannequins themselves ?

Great perspective. I find that far too many people here swing the "it's biology" bat far too soon without acknowledging that social conditioning heavily influences attraction.

Oh jeez I understand you. I have a bunch of eastern european female friends and the stereotypes western men have about them are ridiculous.

Probably the biggest bane of my existence is that I look really feminine by appearance, but I'm rather cold and unemotional in personality. People often get disappointed by getting their unfounded ideals crushed. they almost don’t want/can’t handle stoic women. They don't like being the more sensitive one in the relationship because that would make them "feminine." It's ridiculous to me.

Yeah, I tend to see it in real life to some extent. I'm naturally not that emotionally expressive, but once I wanted to conduct an experiment where I purposely exaggerated emotional display and reasoning. It lead to increased interest from men. Go figure.

But he doesn’t linger on the topic, and it actually seems like he actively doesn’t want to talk about his job at all and quickly moves on from it. I'd be suspicious of his claims and would be trying to sniff around to know if he's telling me the truth or lying to impress me.

Know how to read. I've said "can impact" the choice of marriage since people can be influenced by their families and communities. I would pay for a study on the type of men like you.... I don't need one, considering I've seen it play out in real life multiple times. My own mother suffered bullying from my dad's side of the family, and she wouldn't still be with him if he cared a bit more about what his family thinks of him and his choices. He did cut them off at the end however.

I don’t think the majority of guys care about class. Because they aren't the majority of men to begin with. Even if the man in question does not directly care about the class, the family does, and this can impact the choice of marriage. Lots of them care about how they're viewed inside the family and in their communities. They might date the cute poor girl but not marry.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 02:00 PM

Education affects class. In fact, the value placed on education is a common denominator of class. It's not just the money either but values, mannerisms, etc.

I can’t handle how brash and offensive blue collar men enjoy being. They steamroll me. For me, it's the rampant anti-intellectualism in these circles. Don't get me wrong, I've met blue collar/working class men who loved to learn and have intellectual discussions, but they're definitely not common. I just don't really have anything in common with them.

From my experience, my status did move the needle towards LTR. I've never been pursued for short term. Men in my social-economic bracket don't tend to take you seriously if you don't have a solid education and stable background, which directly contradicts RP doctrine.

I don’t think these women are nearly as common in real life. I'm just baffled by the amount of men who post on subs that they don't even know how to have a casual conversation with a woman. Not in a romantic or platonic way, just casual. I've always hung around mixed groups as a kid and still do now, so it seems really foreign to me.

Dating advice online is garbage. If you want to understand women, then talk to us in real life. It's getting kind of unsettling the amount of men I'm seeing here (whole of Reddit, to be fair) who just don't know how to talk to women. How can someone even live without interacting with 50% of the population ? I don't understand.

What annoys me is the classic red pill male delusion that men can sleep with hundreds of women and then still be entitled to a traditional woman It's wanting their cake and eating it too. I've grown up in a Catholic environment and know a bunch of traditionally minded women. They'd make fun of you if you'd start bragging about it.

Is it really the case that the ex partner gets access to the stuff you've had prior to the marriage act ? Here, the breakup of a default marriage leads to the separation of assets only acquired DURING the length of the marriage.

OP's post is such in bad faith. A woman's career can be as rewarding to her as it is to the people around her. She can dedicate herself to be a doctor and save lives, help launch new technologies in engineering, passing on knowledge to kids as a teacher and so so much. Also why is woman 1 focused on men and how miserable she "would" be ? The bias is revolting.

Very true. Many young people on reddit still don't understand just how far an outgoing personality can get you through life. Oh yeah, this should be emphasised. Men love social butterflies and when you're more outgoing, you're meeting new people anyway, leading into a positive feedback loop. That being said, I feel you. I'm a hermit at heart myself but every once in a blue moon I have those bursts of extraversion that lead to an exponential interest from men just to burn myself out at the end.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/24 06:06 PM

Well, I mean I'd just ignore it if I wasn't interested. If the guy is a regular and I'd still see him, I'd made my stance clear, and if there's any trouble, then it's HR.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/24 04:56 PM

I don’t really see the problem with this approach. It's less intrusive as being directly asked and leaves you time to make your decision.

My parents have a good marriage. I believe it even saved my dad's life to a degree. My dad had to battle cancer, and thanks to the marital laws, my mom could make all of the decisions considering the household in his and hers name. Even now, she organises the household and manages all of the expenses, even in his name, taking a burden off of his back. It was easier for them to obtain a mortgage, and people generally take married couples more seriously when you're looking to buy property. Now soc…

Abuse is not necessarily physical. Women know men are physically stronger than them and will resort to other alternatives if they want to get to you. Men also have a dual mating strategy... we just never talk about it here. Yeah, it is. Quite frequently even.

I see. I was under the impression that at least for Quinn, men would consider the "crazy" as a big factor, on par with looks. I've read a bit about hybristophilia and it does seem to be overepresented in women. Crazy. I've known this was a thing for some women, but I just saw it as a mental illness for the most part.

I don't think attraction towards evil characters is majoritarly a female thing. There's a whole trope - the femme fatale - build around hot female villains. Harley Quinn and Lady dimitrescu come to mind as well.

Reminds me of that twitter account called "Mugshawties" (dunno if it's the exact name) that posted mugshots of female criminals and the comments were littered with men being like "I'll fix her" or "i'll let her abuse me". There's weirdos on either side.

It does line it reality my man you're just acting obtuse because it's not validating your views. Promiscuity itself isn't very attractive to non-casual women but sometimes some may look over it if the guy has other stuff to offer.

Sexually conservative -> not in the casual scene. It does not mean religious or republican in that sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 11:48 AM

What I'm saying is that, when it comes to more conservative minded women it can sometimes happen that the attritubes (ex money, looks, etc...) of a guy can outbalance the promiscuous past. The promiscuity is NOT attractive itself. Why would it be if you're looking to build a family/stable relationship ? My circles are more sexually conservative and nobody leaps with joy at knowing a guy has been around the block. It's mostly seen as a hazard.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 11:41 AM

It does when people claim it's because of the high number.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 11:28 AM

The only women I've known to prefer a man with a high number of partners are promiscuous themselves. Sometimes the man is able to outbalance a promiscuous past but its itself not viewed as a positive.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 11:04 AM

There isn't a species where the male is naturally more promiscuous than the female. What happens often in promiscuous mating systems is that males either use physical force to restrain female choice or kill off competing males. ability to pair bond gets eroded away and she is far more likely to divorce a man if she's had ten plus partners as opposed to two or three. The studies that refer to "pair bonding" indicate that the strength of a bond lessens with an increase in sexual partners in both s…

they are actually sincere in their desire of a traditional lifestyle. They aren't. That's the point. These men often accuse "Western women" to want the benefits from the more modern lax views while simultaneously keeping the old norms that benefit them when they're doing exactly the same. I think they want to the treatment they think “Chads” get from women, They want women to serve them regardless if they wish to be "Chad" or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/24 08:22 PM

The same exists for men, as we can see in the manosphere. It isn't exclusive to one gender lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/24 09:42 AM

Different social behaviours, really. I do not believe any is harder to read than the other. The dynamic of ribbing is pretty strange for someone on the outside as well. walk around eggshells more with men, since they care about cohesion less. Since there's not a strong group attachment amongst men, they can permit themselves to be more socially confrontational without much risk since they'd be easily able to find another group. At least that's my interpretation.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/24 01:24 AM

I do not have autism but I've been raised around men and women having themselves been raised by men. The reason I'm being precise on the latter is because the genders are being socialised to communicate differently, and such behaviours can be passed to members of the opposite sex. I struggled a lot to fit in female groups when I was younger because I just wasn't taught the social behaviour to adopt. From what I could experience, female social groups tend to value in group cohesion way more than …

Christ, talk about dealing with absolutes. I've said that by being careful with how you engage with your intimate relationships, you can reduce the amount of risks you'd be potentially exposed to. Base risk always exists. That's life. Be careful with who you're being intimate with.

The point is to not put yourself in unessecary risky situations that you could perfectly avoid. As you've stated, sexual abuse can happen in families, and unfortunately, in many cases, it's out of your control. While being taken pictures of you unbeknownst to you is also out of your control, you can choose to mitigate the risks by not engaging in intimate relationships carelessly. but I do relate to difficulties in socializing as the scope of most normies' conversations is very limited. This issue tends to come up fairly often for more intellectually minded from what I could see in my own experience. I've had several friends tell me they couldn't maintain friendships/relationships with people outside of that sphere because they'd soon run out of topics to talk about or relate to. My brother is gifted and cried about the lack of mentally stimulating people he had to deal w…

People are way more accepting of you making social "faux pas." I'm awful at reading the room/reacting to social cues, and my appearance is a real crutch. I definitely wouldn't have this amount of grace if I wasn't conventionally attractive. Otherwise, being seen as physically attractive brings me nothing since it doesn't validate me on an individual level. I do like the social privileges, though.

I would be open to help in theory, but any time I've tried to be helpful, they ended up being into me. It ended up being too uncomfortable to put up with, so I've since stopped.

Lol I feel like you don’t interact with actual people. Way to dismiss an argument.

Overall, no, because the examples are dogshit and the majority of people aren't led by poor impulse control. It's genuinely ridiculous to think an attractive person will shut down people's ability to think rationally. Some people will be naive about it, obviously, but as a whole, most of us aren't animals blindly led by hormones.

What exactly does this have to do with the paternity test debacle. Your gender crumbles when a guy is 6ft and has abs. A given set of individuals of either gender crumbles over people perceived as conventionally attractive. Hardly news.

Those are probably the worst attempts at gaslighting I've ever seen.

They'd probably figure out it's an attempted guilt trip and send you to the therapist.

Paternity tests can only be retrieved in a legal matter (preferably by a court order) because the biometric law forbids any processing of genetic information that is done by private institutions. That is why we don't have any ethnic census here either. Stop talking about things you're clueless about.

It’s a bit lopsided, that’s for sure. Oh, absolutely. I was only pointing out that the grift also existed on the women's side, and one should be critical enough to recognize it before getting pulled into the abyss. Red pilled men consistently demand concessions from women and use inflammatory and manipulative language in the process. It's an ideology that provides simple answers to complex problems. I would have thought people learned from the build-up to ww2 to not fall for the same reductive l…

before a new couple has agreed to commitment. So in the vast majority of cases, sex comes first. That's crazy to me. I'd never accept to have sex with someone I'm not already in a relationship/committed to. It's just asking for problems, in my opinion.

While the whole paternity hysteria is a male issue, I also see moral outrage on the female side, as unfortunate as it is. The grifters there target issues women are sensitive to and let the fun continue.

Why be in a relationship at all? This sounds miserable. People need to stop feeding the paranoia.

seems impossible to convince these men that it is in fact rude to implicitly accuse your partner of cheating and paternity fraud. They straight up don't want to admit that it's an accusation of cheating and will go to the moon and back to spin the argument around. I'm impressed at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 10:08 PM

A lot of times, when men state their preferences, they simultaneously treat anyone else who doesn't fit their ideal as subhuman. Like jesus fucking christ let people live.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 06:30 PM

What is the bad choice in this case ?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 06:13 PM

That would be their personal problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 04:24 PM

And forcing women into a way of life they don't want isn't? Not all of us want to "stay at home".
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 03:38 PM

Oh no, women wanting to have a choice over their lives. How awful. Won't someone think of the men ?!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/24 03:25 PM

Americans and their political brainrot. Name a better combo.
