Two issues: Kids are fucking stupid and just shouldn't be allowed to have sex when they think keeping their bf is more important than ruining another person's life Why the fuck is a boy being punished so much without any evidence beyond "trust me bro" by the self-proclaimed victim? Two layers of control that both failed. Parents and the criminal justice system. How rotten.

There is no need to stoop down to a level where you scrutinize verbiage over systemic dysfunction.

I bet the attractive people have a flatter normal curve when it comes to body count. The access and abundance means that there will be more outliers like ultra high/low body counts, where are natural limits occur for less attractive people.

I've got a pretty small and distant immediate family, and even then I'll only have kids if I can retire before like 40.

I blame all media for this. Perceptions wouldn't be so polarized between groups (policy, gender, social class, nationality, etc.) if they'd just recite the facts like they should. Ngl I was slightly disgusted when Reuters started doing opinion pieces.

That's black and white thinking wrapped up into a straw man argument that has nothing to do with the topic on hand. I'm simply stating the reason that women do get priority now, not the reason why they should.

I suspect religion was just a tool used by the ruling class to keep societies in check. Too many factors are at play in this, but I don't see a direct correlation. A belief system does not directly affect the equitability of individuals being affected by it.

I agree in that we shouldn't think in black and white, but equity both overlaps and goes astray from equality. For example, you can mandate that all job applications be anonymous, and that'd be equity through equality. Meanwhile, installing a sharps disposal bin in public isn't equality to the taxpayers who don't need it, but it's equitable to the people who need to perform injections.

I believe in equity being achievable with sufficient education.

Not that sad since lot of our biases make us human, like compassion and sympathy. You'd win some and lose some with pure logic, turning the society into a collective machine.

If we had the power to overcome our animalistic tendencies, racism, addiction, crime and gambling wouldn't exist. You're talking about equality. Equality will never exist in a human society. Equity is where it's at.

On a more broad level: we're animals. Look at what other pack animals do. Instinct and typical social construct for a gendered civilization.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
