Perceptions wouldn't be so polarized between groups (policy, gender, social class, nationality, etc.) if they'd just recite the facts like they should. Too many factors are at play in this, but I don't see a direct correlation. For example, you can mandate that all job applications be anonymous, and that'd be equity through equality.
