Nissan Elgrand has pretty good AC and heating, and sometimes I run the van on idle to charge the battery if its a bit low at night watching movies, so I am using heating and charging the battery at the same time. You need a reliable vehicle.

I am really surprised how much power it uses, practically nothing, like 30w blasting my face off LOL. And the LED tv is low wattage as well, total power consumption is only about 60-70w, perfect for the van.

It was really easy to hook up. Deep cycle battery (got a good deal on a gel type, factory seconds) Enerdrive VSR (to protect engine battery) Cable (10mm thick) Box for the battery (ply box) Fuse Holders and Fuses (to protect cable from spikes > fire)

Yeh man it rocks, digs deep for a small sub. Its got room to breath, it's directly behind the open shelving beside the bed on the floor. Got the Bluray player there with a headphone surround sound processor.

Got it from Gumtree for $230 USD, TV is cheap as no worries. 50 inch big screen in the van, flmao.
