Nashville. Growing urban city, killer nightlife, good paying jobs and low(er) cost of living compared to NYC, SF, etc

Just own it, and be loud and proud about it. THIS. You're showing your ability to lead by being a standup father. Set the boundaries and ignore those who are anti-kids.

Well, I recently made a huge decision to uproot my life and take a job in a new city. The relationship with the wife was already on its last legs, and things weren't improving. An opportunity came and I pounced. Ever since I moved though, she's trying harder than ever - sending sexy selfies, etc. I've tried honestly not to think about her. I've been lifting at least 3 days a week and getting at least 1 day of cardio in. Body fat is starting to drop nicely and I'm starting to notice the improveme…

Swallowed the red pill about 8 weeks ago and have also read NMMNG and Rational Male and much of the sidebar. I've reclaimed my independence and started standing up for myself. I also got a new job in another city and have already gotten a lease there. My wife is now freaking out. I threatened to leave for years and she never cared to address our deadbedroom and other issues. I desired her for so long and now that I'm really moving on she's trying desperately to keep me here but I must go. I have…

Are you sure you're going to be paid six figures straight out of college? I'm not in programming, so maybe this is a thing. I'm in the hardware/networking part of IT/Computers, but this sounds like a stretch to me. Unless you're in SF or something - which $100K will net you a couch to sleep on in a shared apartment with 5 other people. As for being a doctor... that's a huge commitment. If you're not 100% committed to it you will hate your life. You cannot do it for your family. It's seriously a …

Hey this was very helpful. I don't know how I let myself get so far from who I really am, but the change started last month. Since then I've dropped 25 lbs and am def going to work on the wardrobe and "style"

Correct. She's determined to run a hospital. So she went the MBA+Med School but yeah she's not a neurosurgeon (though she did turn down an offer for neurology residency)... But yes, I actually tried this last night. Really just took the reigns and got real. She didn't like it at first but within a few hours it was better. If I think back to our early relationship where I was a dominant man and she was essentially a stay at home girlfriend and then wife. I was the leader... then I kind of fell ba…

Thanks. That's why this appeals to me so much. I'm already a "successful" guy in societies eyes, but I know where I am headed. I realized that I am plenty capable right this min of thriving financially, mentally, sexually... but I've suppressed it by being a "supportive husband of a doctor" but it was more me just letting her control and manipulate me. One other thought - her dad is an alpha. He was red pill before there was a red pill. I'm wondering if I just start acting like her dad if she'll…
