I'm really late to the thread, but I just wanted to point out that Rogan is a fitness freak and actually had a spread in Men's Fitness magazine around the time of this video, since it doesn't look like anyone else has mentioned it. https://www.mensfitness.com/life/entertainment/joe-rogan

You can't really make an assumption based on them having a phone though. In my city the food bank also accepts donated used phones that they wipe and give out with pay-as-you-go cards, so the person can at least have a phone to use free public WiFi with to search for jobs / resources, and a phone number / email address to be reached at for job applications. It's also a safety thing, as they can at least call 911 if they're being attacked or spot somebody overdosing.

I know what you mean about it being amazing to witness naturals, but I think even they are 'created', just by their parents / the environment of their upbringing. Semantics really, just thought I'd point it out.

Replying isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as you do it right and don't expect to move mountains with a text message. It's an opportunity to further paint yourself in the light of your choosing, but you need to be careful not to fuck it up and send the wrong subliminal message. This applies to all messages like this, not just New Years. First off, don't reply until the next day. You don't want her thinking you're hanging on her every word. Let her think you've got better, more exciting thing…

I think solved your own puzzle; her poor relationship is her mother is likely to blame. If you want to avoid damaged goods get to know the people who raised her and evaluate her relationship with them.

Well... Not necessarily. I think it implies that that's the only use you had in mind for her, leaving her convinced there's another woman holding the keys to your heart (emotional state), or that you're a door that hasn't been unlocked yet. This can trigger a strong desire to prove herself to you that she's got more to offer than what's between her legs. Either way it's win-win.

Interesting post. I think this explains why so many MGTOW inadvertently end up with women throwing themselves at them - they're unintentionally coming across as transcendent.

I agree with you somewhat, but to be an opportunist one requires a conscious awareness to guide a logical decision, which is the opposite of what attraction really is - a primal urge that can't be consciously controlled. What I mean is the attraction a woman feels for the man that can provide for her is not the same thing as the attraction she has for what the man can provide. The first is legitimate attraction that induces tingles whereas the second we see often with gold digging HB10s fucking …

For sure, it's what people often refer to as character building experiences. As you successfully clear each new hurdle in life you gradually build confidence in your ability to overcome future ones. Clearing many and larger hurdles amplifies this confidence until it reaches a tipping point where hurdles stop looking like hurdles but instead opportunities for growth and self-exploration. I would call this the moment of transcendence, as at that moment life becomes more about exploring possibiliti…

ASD - anti slut defense. It kicks in when the logical mind conflicts with the primal mind. Her body says she wants it, but her mind tells her she'll be judged harshly for giving in to her desire. There are a couple of ways to get past ASD: The less aggressive method is to give her a plausible pretext for moving forward that doesn't so obviously mean sex ("Who said anything about sex? You're just coming over to check out my record collection, right?"), whereas sometimes you have to just superchar…

Exactly. If you say it in a way that makes you look annoyed or pouty you're handing the reigns over to her by letting her know she can get to you / control how you feel - you're telling her she's more valuable than you are and you're upset you can't have her. In contrast, acting amused while gracefully but deliberately taking your leave implies you have other options and better ways to spend your time, while also letting her know she can't affect your emotional state. This subconsciously tells h…

I'd say what she said was worse. A fat person can get skinny, a short person can't get tall.

If the lust dries up, that is. Unplugged men with an understanding of evolutionary psychology shouldn't have much trouble triggering her primal desires.

To simplify this a little, remember you are the prize. Make her work for your attention and feel like your time is valuable, that every moment spent with her is a choice to sacrifice some other exciting, productive, self improving hobby of yours. If you exude the vibe of a man on a mission, riding straight to the top without compromise, she'll want to ride right along with you regardless of how much time and attention you give her.

Knowing what they're doing isn't the same as knowing why they're doing it. It's easy to conceal your intentions if you don't know what they are.

The tech is the saving grace. People who drive older base model luxury cars strictly for the brand association just ooze narcissism most of the time. Driving an older flag ship so you get the technology at a bargain is a different story.

I was with you until the last part. Cars and driving are hobbies for a lot of people. If they own a vehicle because they like it, not because they think other people will like it, I couldn't care less what they're driving.

It makes sense from a caveman perspective. A woman's biological predisposition is to mate with the strongest, most dominant male they can as that would have the heartiest genes to pass on to their offspring and that male would best be able to provide and protect them and their offspring. This also explains why 'nice guys' get dumped quickly or rejected in the first place. As men doll out affection freely and without merit, and seek approval / permission from their partners, they subconsciously e…

When I spoke about slipping shoes on and off I wasn't talking about physical attributes. I was talking about how we carry ourselves and interact with others - suppressing your wit, charm, calmness and confidence can be useful at times, depending on your goal.

We're on the same page for sure, I'm not saying we should use the wrong tool for the job, but that the tools we're given can be used to build many different things so we don't need to all follow the same blueprint. We should never ignore the things that make us valuable, however I'm a fan of a more reserved, controlled approach to how we leverage and reveal that value. It can be beneficial to wear many different masks based on the social context and what your end goal is, so sometimes it's bette…

Perhaps it's the Machiavellian side of me, but I see more value in approaching each social / professional circle differently and sometimes purposely playing the beta role, as opposed to aiming straight for a pristine, alpha male image. Society isn't a single entity, it's the multitude of various social groups you partake in, and what your intentions are in each of them can vary widely. I think the ultimate culmination of TRP isn't being a pussy magnet Chad with a fat bank account (unless that's …

Absolutely, I just think the key word is strategy, not sexual. 'Winning' at high school may be an effective strategy but it certainly isn't the only one, it all depends on what your goals are. TRP arms us with plethora tools, how we decide to apply them is up to the individual and what their desires are.

Speak for yourself - being enlightened doesn't automatically mean everybody has to seek the same end game. If your TRP goal is to make high school last forever I feel sorry for you.

Not to discredit your experience, but could your sample set be skewed simply be who you are? I've seen a lot of people make complete transformations after college - chubby nerds who were so distraught about 'not getting the girl' doing complete 180s and hitting the gym, learning new skills, making tons of money, and becoming general pussy magnets. I think a lot of guys hold themselves back from reaching their potential due to the guilt mentioned by OP, and escaping the daily reminder of how they…

Exactly. This post is more about escaping the yoke of preconditioned guilt for feeling like a 'loser' during college - in reality college life isn't 'real' and things only get easier once you've got the time, finances, and lack of bullshit drama that college life typically entails. 'Chump' is kind of a bullshit label anyway, a carryover from those still stuck in the college mindset. Every social circle has a hierarchy, and the 'chumps' of one circle can be the Chads of their own. Once out of col…

As a 30 year old, this post in bang on the money. I'm enjoying life far more now than I ever did when I was in college. Once you escape the societal pressures and focus on what you actually want, instead of what you've been conditioned to think you want, things just get better and better. * I've cut out the dramatic people that were dragging me down, and replaced them with friends I really connect with * Earning a decent living allows me to explore hobbies I couldn't before, and enjoy finer thin…

You're not getting it. The overtone here is that people may be influenced by biological predisposition, but in the end everyone is an individual. TRP philosophy, whether intentional or not, makes men think that we are the only ones capable of resisting urges and exercising free will. Just because one woman s
