Well, to be honest, I don't know a lot about sofware dev., so I'll take your word on all that. If that's the case though, then I'm sure he (or his boss) will eventually be kicking themselves for missing out on a good tech. for such a petty reason. If your tech is that good though, I'm sure someone else would want it. Why not shop yourself around to Facebook/Uber/Apple/MS/etc...? I'm sure you could find another company that has similar attributes to Google.
