They hate us because we were born male, it's as simple as that. Feminists hold a monopoly on victimhood and being oppressed. The narrative is that men have all the privilege, wealth etc and men are perpetually trying to oppress women. We fly in the face of that "truth". After all, why would any man give up power and privilege to become a woman, unless this view of hoarding power and privilege is patently false? That's why feminists are so strict about who is and who isn't a woman . That's why yo…

Your part about us being a dating alternative is hard to swallow. A) In my experience, a lot of cis men are very much opposed to dating trans women; they would rather suffer the abuse of a 1000 cis women before they entertain dating us. Until dating trans women is no longer taboo--which it never will to my dismay---we'll never be a viable dating option. Speaking for myself, if I had the right guy, I would treat him right and give him license to be vulnerable because I understand how society trea…

Thank you for clarifying. It's been a real struggle for me. I went to the police and reported the incidents, they refused to do anything. The second time, I was assaulted near them and they let the guy go and didn't bother detaining him. It's frustrating to know that your life isn't worth protecting because of who you are.

Don't have the temerity to blame me for my assaults. This is primarily why I despise other people, you get punched in the face by them and told you made them do it. How dare you for telling me I'm responsible for someone else's actions, asshole. I didn't expect MRAs to be understanding from all the shit posts I've seen, but this takes the damn cake. I mind my own business and get attacked and this asshat is telling me that I'm responsible for just walking down the street minding my own damn busi…

Thank you for your sympathy, it's nice to be reminded that non trans people, especially men, can respect what I'm going. I know of Norah Vincent, I remember watching clips of her experiment years ago. I'm amazed at her level of honest in relating the experiences of men. What upsets me is when I watch a clip of SOME trans men talking about how they got male privilege and kiss up to feminism. Most trans people will tell you how much it sucks to be a man and how stifling it is. I mainly keep to mys…

It's not so much the demonization but the willful ignorance of people on this sub about what it means to be trans and the refusal to listen to trans women. . I've seen over and over again by men on this sub believing trans women transition to get more privilege or sex or some imaginary benefit, which is absurd to say the least. I didn't transition into a cis woman, I transitioned to a trans woman, which is hated and reviled by society. Do you have know how many times I've been threatened and att…

True, as a trans woman, I can't claim there are any upsides to being a trans woman, especially being a black trans woman; you get attacked for existing and experience interminable isolation. That's why transitioning is treated as a last recourse, you have to be really dysphoric to want to transition and suffer through the shit a trans woman gets. I would advocate to any AMAB to not transition except if psychologically you can't cope. Being trans doesn't mean you inherit female privilege; you are…

I've been lurking on this sub for awhile now and as a trans woman it's hard to believe that men's rights actually cares about trans people and are just using us for their agenda as much as feminists. I wholeheartedly support men in securing rights but at the same time it's hard for me to ignore how we get demonized on this sub most times.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
