It's a populist thing that's why you find it in common with the right and left. Populists are chronic externalizers. They want an 'other' to blame everything on. It's the same thing that the misogynists do. 2 sides of the same coin.

It takes self reflection and maturity to observe, accept, and address your own hypocrisy. It hurts to acknowledge your own weaknesses and that makes a lot of people too uncomfortable to try it. If no one ever took the time to teach someone how to self reflect in a healthy way, they may not have reached that level of emotional maturity. Think deeply about how that conversation made you feel. Work out how you could communicate to someone how it makes you feel when they say that. Don't talk down, d…

I'd go more with 'healthy' skepticizm. It happens for real way too often for me to be overly skeptical of them. I've heard too many stories from women close to me that were clear sexual assaults. There's middle ground in there for me.

I'm not talking about fringe cases with elite athletes or disabled men or whatever niche scenario we can come up with.

Don't worry because under the new definition of rape, even most virgins are rapists. /s

I wonder how many men are realizing how many times they've been 'raped' by women in the past. Funny how there's a long list of things that are considered rape for women yet raping a man is either not possible, or only when forcefully penetrated

Our core strength is on a whole nother level compared to women which just amplifies the differences.

Sorry but the difference is huge. Most men have to considerably hold themselves back when rough housing with women so we don't accidentally hurt them. Testosterone is a hell of a drug.

Thank you for saying. I'm trying hard to be that guy. I want to help build up people and maybe heal some of this collective pain.

It's the part where you act like self-professed liberals are incapable of bigotry.

You can't avoid it entirely but you can take measures to be less exposed to it, and cutting it out if your social media feed will reduce exposure considerably.

Probably. I practical terms we're stronger, faster, and physically durable. It makes sense in a lot of situations. If a dangerous animal shows up at a campsite with a man, wife, and child it makes sense for the woman to pick up the child and run while the man buys time for them to escape assuming they're roughly average in physical aspects for their sex. Your average man will have a much higher chance of surviving or taking fewer serious injuries than your average woman. I the case of war, losin…

Yet another area where men are driven to take their own lives. I think we all understand the purpose of fair child support payments. We're not looking to shirk responsibility. We just want society to care when it's no longer fair.

Being hurt by hate is a normal healthy response. Some people may think silently suffering and taking abuse is manly but I don't see it that way. Rejecting unreasonable hate is not weakness. It's strength. Saying 'this is wrong and I won't take it' takes courage and self respect. What you are observing is real and it is wrong. They can minimize it or explain it away or come up with reasons why their prejudices are justified but it's wrong to do nonetheless. The bulk of this stuff is online and po…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
