And alot of the guys who have seemingly no options, actually have a lot going for them if we lived in normal times. That's part of the problem. I've seen plenty of posts in the dating subs and I've known some young men in my job, who seem like they should have no trouble finding women, but still struggle mightily.

It's not another claim, it's the same one. Men are struggling with dating because many women won't notice or consider them as options even if they are similar in looks, social status and personality. Too many women have unrealistic expectations that men who are out of their league will commit to them and not just want them for sex. How about the next time you want to debate something, consider actually elucidating an alternative THOUGHT, instead of a drive-by pot shot that just says "No, you're …

That's not the claim I called out.. You didn't offer anything at all other than basically plugging your ears like a child and saying "You are wrong"

Bullshit. There are articles all over the mainstream media over the last several years about how men are struggling with relationships and there is no indication that they just want sex. There are countless men in the dating subreddits saying the same things.

So, I’ve watched well-adjusted, educated women from good homes spend their 20s dating a string of jerks and fawning over them. Then, they settle down with nice guys who treat them with respect, only to constantly nag these guys, who can never seem to do anything right. I’m fully aware that if these women had met these guys when they were younger, they would have rejected them without a second thought. Other men have reported very similar things to themselves and others. In fact, I have a friend …

It isn't based on nothing, it's based on observation, as I have said. I have issues with redpill but a large part of the reason of why it resonates is that it strips away the gaslighting and the bullshit and things that used to make no sense suddenly become clear. Women don't want to look bad socially and they protect other women, often with gaslighting or shaming language. There'd be a lot less of a need for all of these 'pills' if many women would just act like adults and own their behavior an…

Men need social incentives and influences to commit and build families. and society has been steadily dismantling those for men

People make judgements and have opinions on other relationships ALL THE TIME. If you are going to pretend you have never done so, or that it is abnormal, you truly are gaslighting like it's going out of style!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/24 10:03 PM

Because the men who DO want a relationship and would likely make great relationship partners are socially invisible to most women. The real question to ask is: Why do the guys I feel entitled to, but are likely out of my league, only want sex and won’t commit?

"No you haven't. You see a relationship and speculate about its dynamic using your own bias." How do you figure you are not doing the exact same thing, except that you are another few degrees of separation removed from those relationships than I am?

Yeah.. and women don't cover each other's asses socially either I guess, right? I've literally seen this happen and plenty of other men have as well. Stop the gaslighting, it doesn't work any more.

and lots of those guys spend the rest of their lives trying to relive their 'glory' days as middle aged men and become alcoholics (if they weren't already) and it's just generally pathetic. This is the whole point you often hear about on this forum about the guys who had their shit together from the beginning who end up getting settled for when some woman decides her party days are over. Nobody likes being settled for and many guys are waking up and saying "no thanks".

I dunno.. I'll bet if you gave women a pill that was like the fountain of youth and they could look exactly like they did when they were 20, they'd go right back to acting like they did when they were 20. I think they WANTED commitment from the hot/fun guys they were with and eventually realized they were getting older, getting less attention and there were always hotter and younger women competing with them. I've watched women in my own family do this. They treat the men they settle with MUCH d…

These women also want men to play their masculine gender roles from the 1950s but they have zero intention of reciprocating and assuming feminine gender roles from the 1950s. Women get all the benefits of equality and men have to revert to their traditional roles, at least the ones that benefit women. The ones that benefit men are discarded as regressive and sexist. What a deal for the men. Also, if women keep choosing lazy men as partners, maybe they should try a little self reflection about wh…

That makes absolutely zero sense. If a man is lazy and cannot be bothered to do his share of chores, what makes you think he's going to treat a woman he is in a relationship with like a princess? It also makes no sense because if the goal is 50/50, why should she get treated like a princess?

Her current age isn't the point. It's whether she'd have accepted you if you met when she was 22

The whole conceit here that is so common that it's unnoticed is that women are considered the reward that you 'win'. This is how broken and unequal it all is. Red pill has it's faults but at least it tells men to start thinking of themselves as the prize which is a huge attitude shift that many never even considered. Ideally, men and women would just decide to date because they enjoy each other's company and there is mutual attraction. Neither one is the prize that you win.

Women are attracted to confidence. I think these women hope that the confident guys who are willing to sleep with them are also willing to commit to them. After some time, the OP says it's around age 25, these women realized the writing is on the wall and that is not going to happen. They also realize there are younger and prettier women competing for the guys who used to give them all the attention (in order to sleep with them). So.. she settles for a nice guy whom she would have totally reject…

You just asked me this: "Did you highlight 18-25 men when it came to height and income? No. You didn’t." So, I just did so. I really still do not understand your point, what you are looking for or what the point was of the two original links you posted.

Women are also more likely to be attracted to, date and even RETURN to habitual abusers and violent men much more than they would be towards safe and respectful men whom they often ignore.

Ok, I get this back from ChatGPT.. Updated Breakdown: Height (Over 6 feet): For men aged 18-25, approximately 14.5% are 6 feet or taller, consistent with general population data. Income (Over $80,000): Most men aged 18-25 are just starting their careers. Only about 2% of men in this age group earn over $80,000 annually. Single Status: Around 70% of men aged 18-25 are single. Estimating the Combined Percentage: 0.145×0.02×0.70=0.002030.145 \times 0.02 \times 0.70 = 0.002030.145×0.02×0.70=0.00203 …

Yes, it absolutely IS. Especially in this economy where young people across the board are struggling with high rents and a crappy job market for people just starting out. The number of young men who earn at least 80k is going to be very small. The number who are not working in programming or tech and usually not that attractive to many women will be even smaller. In the past. Young couples helped each other create their future together. They were often both poor but they saw potential in each ot…

So much of what is called toxic masculinity is perpetuated and enforced by WOMEN! It's done with shaming language, with comparing men to other men openly and through direct ridicule sometimes. Women want masculine, non-effeminate men but they won't admit that socially, so they just say they have the 'ick'. Most of what you listed above, other than hygiene are feminine behaviors.

I thought you wanted to highlight 18 - 25 women otherwise why did you post it? I thought you were making the case that most men of all ages are attracted to younger women and that is why you used that range. Otherwise.. I'm not sure what your two links were for. The first was simply all women and the next was women 18-25, not obese and single. The first link seems redundant. Me, including ALL men, did not help the case I was trying to make, it hurt me. The actual percentage of tall, rich men who…

As of now, you're not making any arguments, just assumptions You are literally doing the same thing. We disagree. I'm not going to start referencing and citing sources like this is a college course. I doubt that the number of men reporting being frustrated both here, on the more mainstream dating subs and in general or in the media are all some mass delusion. Believe what you like.

That's just one example. Other ages of men struggle too. Not being in a relationship often means you've given up on finding one. Especially at a young age.

I think I read recently that nearly half of Gen Z men are not dating. How is that 'most' people are not struggling? This is just more gaslighting.

Men routinely say they’re unhappy with their lives so I think they should try making their house look nice. That makes about as much sense as telling unhappy women to start playing Madden NFL on the couch with some beer and wings

Another thing is, since I don't care about having sex as much when I am satisfied, women have much less ability to persuade me to do things. This right here is pretty much 100% of the reason why men get the shaming and the judgements for seeing escorts. Women have a tremendous amount of power over men by controlling when or if they have sex. They have a tremendous amount of power with even just teasing the possibility of sex or simply showing off their bodies. Men seeing escorts totally threaten…

Let's just say women want a man who is over 6 feet, makes over 6 figures and is single. I ran it through Chat GPT and I get less than 1% of the population. That assumes the guy is compatible with her, that he's looking to commit to her and that he's not an abusive asshole. I didn't even say he was handsome or good in bed, I left those out. Oh yeah!! Age appropriate too! Most guys who earn over 6 figures are probably old boomers or tech nerds. So.. now we are somewhere less than one percent of gu…
