If your favourite food is pizza and you have 100 pizzas in front of you, you still have to pick the most interesting pizza. It’s not about being tasty. It’s about being interesting.

Different things work for different people, I'm glad you've found something that works for you. I personally would feel a bit duplicitous about that particular bit though. Unless I was saying it in an overtly obvious way that it's not wine you're coming back for... Plus you run the risk of them not liking wine at all. If someone's coming back to mine, they're coming back for me, and I'll have put in all the ground work to ensure I don't need to show them my prop. (No pun intended). Like I said t…

I tried a new thing (for me) today. I genuinely just asked, "wanna go back to my place?" Didn't expect it to work. It did. (Context) Met at a local tea house, shared a pot of tea and some cake, hopped to a nearby boat bar, couple of drinks popped the question, walked back to mine, started kissing ..... and so on. Girls appreciate a forward question. Worst they can do is say no!

If there isn't a single redeeming feature of the woman worthy enough to have a conversation about, what's the point! If she's physically incapable of even discussing something why bother.

All chat to camera. No proof of concept.

Make them your friends. Best way to disarm yourself as a threat.

How does that work when you and your friend have almost identical "types" though?

Intentionally do the worst approach possible a few times. If you're worried about coming across creepy/needy/lecherous, try a few approaches where you accentuate those qualities. You'll know you're going to get blown out, you'll know you're going to fail, and not only will you know when that happens precisely why you failed, you'll have the confidence in yourself that any future approaches where you don't portray those "characatueristic" qualities can't possibly get reactions as harsh, negative …

I got two minutes in before switching off. Wasted oppertunity to get some useful answers and information, squandered by asking a complete stranger about their sex life, after JUST being told it was the worst chat up line she'd ever heard.

I would be very intrigued as to how the flip side of this would be. And if the reactions to whatever advice the male gave the women would be of calm acceptance...

It's pheromones. If she's "smelling it" she's digging it.:)

Best thing I could recommend is plead ignorance. You don't know what they mean by the term "pua" etc. If you approached a few girls without guys around them (especially more than one guy at a time) that would kinda telegraph intentions beyond what your conversation may entail. I would assume that your "openers"/ conversation topics perhaps appeared too rehearsed or there was some other element that tipped them off. I'm just getting back into things but from what I remember the last thing a girl …

Step one, have opinions on things. Simply ask what the other persons opinions are, if you disagree, don't back down. You're as entitled to your opinion as they are (maybe even more so if you're trying to enhance your status). Step two if you don't have hobbies, get some. If your hobbies are something the target isn't interested in, either learn to make them sound accessible or invent/find/ pretend to heave other interests more suitable to their interests. If this sounds harsh/ too laborious... E…

Ah to have read that before the date. I fear my fatal flaw may have been in my now natural "don't seem Interested" vibe. The girl already found me attractive enough to date, I should have been more active in my display of intent perhaps. Ah well live and learn.

[Update] just on my way home. Alone. She laughed the whole night, admitted she found me hilarious and enjoyed my company. Wants to meet again but just as friends. I asked her was it just physical and she said she doesn't find me ugly, she just didn't want things to go further. I'm not unattractive just not attractive enough for her to pursue things. Hey, silver lining, at least I've a nice clean and tidy room to come home to.:/

Save for the music thing I've done all of the above. Perhaps I'm not as bad at this as I thought. Let's just hope I don't mess up the date!:)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
